total issue 1.3 million BTSBOTS, and buy back about 0.4 million now
and the price of BTSBOTS is about 0.0151 USD/BTSBOTS
total  cap is about 13487 USD

Great!

I'm interested in this - it would be great to have clearer picture of what's going on with the profits the bots make and what % is being reinvested to develop new bots.

With the "buy back" was there a burn or are you holding the 0.4MM?

Also, what mechanism does BTSBOTS use to allocate profits / pay the shareholders?

Awesome, alt!

What is the company's current market cap in USD?

General Discussion / Re: Why I am an Austrian Economist [BLOG POST]

Great debate... and yet it's with the same people that already know about Bitshares.

Good point.  How do we expect to get the new readers involved?  Downloads of clients may not be the only way to count greater involvement

General Discussion / Re: Default Vote for Core Devs???

It's "opt out" vs "opt in" and it's widely debated issue in many industries.  I am for it - it backs our devs and strengthens Bts

What about making a vouching / approval system to get voted in? Like: One needs three vouches from people on nullstreet to get into nullstreet. This way Methodx doesn't have that much responsibility/work and can leverage the knowledge and social ties of others.

Agree with this +1

Should we publish to reddit / give love to your post on silos?

right, but there's another new post on silos, I don't think it's been posted to reddit yet or even mentioned on the forum

Core developers have a large enough stake that they now get "automatic bonuses"  if the value of that stake goes up as a result of their efforts.   The incentives are aligned.

Assume for the moment I did have a large stake.  Then I have two choices:

(a) Leave and watch my stake grow x% based on the efforts of other developers
(b) Stay and watch my stake grow y% based on the efforts of myself and other developers combined

My effective salary is then (y-x)% times my stake, plus income from any delegate(s) I operate.

I am not sure that (y-x)% is large enough even if my stake is large.

Just trying to understand the dev mindset more.  At the moment, what factors motivate you to work full time on the project and can you quantify how much each factor matters to you?

How do you come to 30,000 users?  Users tend to have multiple accounts, that combined with an estimation of real users on the forum Id say we have closer to 5000.  Don't get me wrong, Id love to see proof that it's higher

I should have said accounts I am sorry.  Though this is just a side issue and not the most important aspect of the post.

We need anyone and everyone making a thread on this forum saying "I want a delegate for xx and yy"

All good - it's just kind of a point I've been interested in.

I think your proposal to get more delegates in is right on target.

Great work Fuzz.

One comment: #20 Merchant adoption should be replaced my User adoption.  Get the users by giving them a reason to hold, use and prefer bitUSD and the merchants will come.   If you put Merchant adoption before consumer adoption, you'll get stagnation just like with Bitcoin.

IMO the proper evolution should be:

1) User holding of bitUSD due to perceived value resulting from yield )
2) (Once sufficiently valuable), merchants attract this wealthy demographic by also accepting bitUSD (same as they are doing with bitcoin)
3) User Usage begins to be driven by merchant offers of products and services in bitUSD.

Sounds like push-pull business theory.  It seems like the more logical foundation. +5%
