Thanks for the input.

Those tweets have very little value in term of traffic. The reason why I focused here is because we are our target market and we follow people who are like minded.

If I were doing some black hat seo, I would maybe use it ;-)

Marketing to the same community who is trying to get new users in?  What kind of marketing is it?

Find me a more cost effective way to reach out to the masses.

Most of the retweets by us are from accounts who are mostly followed by each other, essentially we are promoting bitshares to one another.

Calling this black hat seo is bs.

Are you serious? you don't reach anyone with those bogus $5 fiverr gigs. They are account that don't engage with content. I use this sometime to do social seo but nothing more. Believe me, I never got any traffic from that kind of scheme.

And yes, paid engagement on your website is black hat.

When you are working on social seo for a client who doesn't have an audience yet who want to rank higher. We increase the social profile by buying $5 gigs. (aka black hat seo)

Anyhow, I personally wouldn't use fiverr to get traffic. Can you imagine what kind of relationship this vendor has with his followers?
Answer: none...at best.
