Hi there,
I want to delete an unused account.
How can I do that?

There is no easy way (by design, we will never help delete private keys), why do you want to delete an account?
You could make a new wallet and import all the accounts you need.

Hi Toast,
Okay, I understand!
Why: We have created a lot of accounts on several computers, but all of them are useless (see: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=13991.0). We just wanted to get rid of.
New Wallet: Sounds easy, but how do I create a new wallet? I know to create new accounts, but new wallets?
Regards, Armilo

You can create a new wallet using the 'console'.
The 'console' option should be available on the right side of GUI client or via 'advanced' option.

Either way, here is the command to type into console.

>> wallet_create <wallet_name> <new_passphrase>

since accounts are added to blockchain you cant delete...

Would be interesting to see if anyone came up with idea to remove data from a consensus driven blockchain... but maybe light wallets are the better way to attack the same problem like spv and bitcoin chain

I also want to delete some accounts. It seems some people have many accounts, and the real number of users is much less.
