Where is your "Settings" located?

I'm on a PC and my top nav only has "Application", "Edit" and "View" with no "Settings" drop down, nor under "Account" left side nav.

EDIT: Arg - nevermind - just figured it out. Thanks

Only a few issues here.

1) Create an account via the faucet
2) Import .json file from 0.9.3c
3) Claim balance to account created with faucet.

If something didn't look right cntrl-r fixed it.

That won't work .. 9090 is the p2p port .. I assume you have opened 8090 for 0.0.0.0 aswell? then using 185.82.203.92:8090 will work :)

WIN7/64 :  New account o.k. importing keys o.k. => unclaimed balance o.k. , but there is no way to import it.

After importing keys => claim balance => "Wallet has already been imported" => delete wallet and restore => same result : "No balance claims" , refresh: same result.

Tried several times but don`t get it...

Can you figure out FROM WHICH address(es) you have donated to the MUSE pre-sale?
you should be able to figure that out from your transaction history in the QT-wallet.

once you know your addresses you can dump their corresponding private keys as described here:
http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/4203/how-can-i-export-the-private-key-for-an-address-from-the-satoshi-client

That string of characters can be imported into muse with the key import tool and afterwards you can claim your pre-sale tokens

"2345800ms th_a       wallet.cpp:3365               import_balance       ] balances: []
[]"

BTC address can be in uncompressed or compressed form.  I tried both formats but failed.  Is there a way to verify the BTC public address against the genesis file, somehow?

I tried both light and cli wallets - to no avail.  I tried all my btc donation keys too.  None of them work.  I hope there is a way to find the btc address in the genesis.json file.

It's worked great for me. Are these the full balances, though? Seems like a lot less than I thought I had.
It showed me about 1/10 of my actual balance after importing my keys, I'll have to look into it again tomorrow.

That's what I think, too. It's about 1/10th of what I would expect should be in there. I assume the balances haven't been scaled yet?
I figured out my issue, I used a filtered wallet json that had been made using the BTS genesis, once I redid it with the correct genesis file my balances were correct.

My json file went from 94633 keys to 18 after filtering :)

Still don't have any options to select an existing account using the .dmg.  Any help?

I don't have that many keys, but could you please explain how you filtered? If it isn't rocket science, I might try that to see if I can get my full balance. Thanks!

Is everyone having issues claiming funds with windows release?

That was a last minute fix.

I am having issues claiming my balance as well.   I imported my json key file with no problem.  When I go to the Claim Balances page, my balance and account show up on the listing but the "Select Account" dropdown does not contain my account name.   I can mark the checkbox next to my account balance but the Claim Balance button stays disabled so I am not able to actually claim the balance.   I have tried reloading multiple times and even exiting and reopening the application and nothing seems to work.

I thought that since this was a fresh chain account names would not transfer over, is that not the case? If we're supposed to keep our account names then I too am missing them after importing my keys..

Alright so I fixed my issue.

The issue appears to have been that I had created a wallet but not an account.   Once I created an account, I was able to claim my balances.   Not sure if it matters but I created an account with the same name as my original account from the 0.9.3 wallet file that I was importing.

I did, and those notes showed up in my 0.9.3 bitshares wallet.   I exported those keys and imported the .json file into that new Muse wallet and now they are showing up in my Muse wallet.   Did your notes show up in your bitshares 0.9.3 wallet?

looking Good!  +5%

Can we register premium names somehow?

I'd like to know the answer to this also...

I haven't managed to claim my balance yet though! I think it's because I have too many keys.

I had problems too but I followed these instructions and reduced my keys from 66k to something like 300, it was really easy after that!

I hope you adapted the guide for use with the MUSE genesis file. If not, unless you're lucky, you're probably missing some balances.

You need to change the genesis file of course, and also to replace GPH with BTS and BTS with MUSE in one of the scripts iirc.

I guess I was lucky because nothing is missing.

[EDIT]
I don't know if my first failed attempt will all the keys helped in any way but I'm ok now.

no tips to fix this issue?

I tried copying and pasting exported Base58 private key in its normal display format:
5Kb8kL f9zgWQ nogidD A76MzP L6TsZZ Y36hWX MssSzN ydYXYB 9KF
This gave me the dreaded blank page of death.  :(

Used this instead (removed spaces):
5Kb8kLf9zgWQnogidDA76MzPL6TsZZY36hWXMssSzNydYXYB9KF
Successful import.  :)

FYI, private key used above is fake (from bitcoinwiki page).

From bitcoinwiki:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Private_key#Base58_Wallet_Import_format
For private keys associated with uncompressed public keys, they are 51 characters and always start with the number 5 on mainnet (9 on testnet).
Private keys associated with compressed public keys are 52 characters and start with a capital L or K on mainnet (c on testnet).

I'm not a bitcoin expert but I think you want the private key type that begins with the number 5 and is 51 characters in length.
Not sure if Muse handles importing both formats.  Maybe someone else can verify.
FWIW I exported from an Armory wallet.

My settings: ws://52.6.149.0/ws

Sorry, I never used Bitcoin-qt wallet.  Armory wallet gives various options as to what format(s) and info to export.  I would imagine same is similar for your wallet, maybe.

I'm having the same problem as unsoindovo but with the bitshares light wallet:  when I import my bitcoin-qt private key I get the white/blank screen.  My key also begins with L and is 52 characters long.  Can someone verify that the the private key to be in WIF has to begin with 5?  xeroc seems to imply that it doesn't based on his steps below.

how to import NOTES buyed in IPO with BTC????
there isn't a function do do this!
You use the import key tool and put the wif private key for the address you used to buy NOTES in the pre-sale
hi xeroc!
i don't understand.
how to generate "wif private key" from my bitcoin QT-Wallet and then use it to import in my MUSE wallet.
can you explain better?

many thanx!
Can you figure out FROM WHICH address(es) you have donated to the MUSE pre-sale?
you should be able to figure that out from your transaction history in the QT-wallet.

once you know your addresses you can dump their corresponding private keys as described here:
http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/4203/how-can-i-export-the-private-key-for-an-address-from-the-satoshi-client

That string of characters can be imported into muse with the key import tool and afterwards you can claim your pre-sale tokens

and get you uncompressed 51bit, starting with "5" private key.
then import it in your MUSE wallet.

Yes .. try this (offline) to export the 5... uncompressed key .. there should be a button that changes the key you have paste in
