You are welcome to start placing orders, if you get enough depth then the markets will open. If not dan will put up orders tomorrow.
Remember, the code for using price feeds / moving average (when no feeds) to restrict short price is in place and can be activated via hard fork. 0.4.10 will not enable this feature, but 0.4.11 might.

says 57 feeds average .0001
is the requirement not 51. I'm still reading insufficient feeds.
-
Just need the market depth now? 20million?
-
Don't we need a bitBTC <-> BTSX market before this one to create the bitBTC to trade? Or I am mistaken
EDIT: NM I worked it out.

Many of the feeds have expired. We are less than 10 fresh feeds away.

+5% .. just updated my feed price
-
Well I'm in.

Most people can't even connect to peers or sync since the latest update. I seriously doubt it's a good time to launch the bitBTC market. I mean... you guys can try, but there's probably not going to be enough depth.
Hopefully an update is rolled out soon. That being said... I published a feed.

Looks like we have enough active feeds now, but market is not yet active because of insufficient depth.

Yea there are currently 68 feeds with an average price of 0.0000628 BTC/BTSX, but market depth is puny. I've added a new "per asset" information page to my site, you can use it to check the current status of the asset, and you can see the feeds for that asset from each delegate.

I'm still not sure what the units are for ask and bid depth, anyone care to enlighten me?

i dont get why the orderbook is so far off the real price.
why do people set orders that are not gonna be filled anyways?

Just hoping to catch a wild swing. I agree it's a bit silly, especially the ones way out in left field, but then people buy lottery tickets too :).

aye, putting silly orders in an empty book was probably working for some people in the past ;)
