QuoteYou can safely move your BTS to a local wallet and be sure that BTER will honor your BTS that was in their control during the snapshot in the form of PLAY when that DAC is launched. That's pretty much what I needed to know. Thanks.

Quoteyou can redeem your BTS in the BTS client using the private keys that hold BTSyou can redeem your PLAY in the PLAY client (once released) with the private keys that have held BTS at the time of the snapshotI emailed Bter and they said they can't export user wallets/private keys because they use the same coin wallets for all accounts. Meaning I can't import my BTS into my client with the PLAY share and I have to have my BTS in my client in order to take advantage of all the coming snapshots. Atleast that's what I understanding. Likewise, I don't feel safe keeping funds on an exchange. Sorry if I'm aggrivating anyone.

Why are my BTS IOUs on Bter?
Will I be able to redeem my BTS in other DACs if they are kept in a PLAY wallet?
PLAY will have its own chain and own client ..
thats alao why you atm cannot withdraw them.from bter.. thoae are IOU on bter
I had BTS in my Bter account during the snapshot and my balance page is showing "for PlayBTS_S1". Hence, i assume Bter will honor my BTS in PLAY. However, does this mean i have to keep these funds on the exchange because that doesn't seem safe to me. Thx for any help on this.EDIT: So we have to wait for the PLAY wallet? Is this wallet different than BTS client? I'm confused.
Quote from: Lilith81 on December 09, 2014, 04:01:51 pmOn Bter they should have asked you to move the Bts in their wallet to be allocated the play shares, if you just left on the exchange i think no. So by having them in my bter wallet I will not get credited?

Hello, I had shares of BTS on BTER and received an equivalent amount of PLAY shares. I also had a large amount of BTS shares in my wallet, did they count in the snapshot?? Is there something I need to do??Any help would be appreciated.

Quote from: Lilith81 on December 09, 2014, 12:56:41 amWhere can I see the play shares I've been allocated? Can we have the link to the json file containing the allocation for each public key, just like other snapshots did?
Where can I see the play shares I've been allocated?
Bought a few more BTS for tomorrow's snapshot.
If someone still hasnt imported their wallet, meaning, still hasnt redeem their full bitshares (from keyID, vote, etc), will that persons till receive the full amount of PLAY? Or do I need to import first and get my full stake on the wallet in order to receive the correct amount of PLAY?
this summer
Can someone please advise the exact numbers to receive from Play from each of AGS,PTS,BTS? Many thanks!

I opened two accounts but I feel that this is a useless compilcation. Backups save all the accounts or just one? I would like to erase one account. Could you tell me how can I do it?If you've just been familiarizing yourself with the wallet, and want to clean it out and start fresh before actually transferring funds to it, you can delete the "wallets" directory in the BitShares folder I mentioned last post, or just rename it to "walletsOLD" or something and BitShares will create a fresh new one next time you start. Let me know if you've already put funds in the wallet. What operating system are you running?

Hello everybody,I am new here and I need some help.I bought BTS on Bter a couple of weeks ago and now I have the opportunity to partecipate at the snapshot of december. What I have to do? Put the BTS in my wallet, right? I must follow the instructions of Bter and send BTS at their account btercom? Why can't I send the BTS in my account directly? How the snapshot works? Are all the BTS in all the wallets becoming PLS? I have another question about my wallet? Where the private key is? I don't dare to put the money there since I am not completely sure that I have the full control of my wallet. I know you propably don't like me because a month ago I didn't even know that Bitshares exists and now I claim to be a shareholder like you. The only thing I want to say is, Bitshares seems to me like the open door toward freedom I dreamed for 41 years. Many thanks to everybody,Nicola
