Will BitsharesX be worth more than $150-$160million before Jan. 1st, 2015?
Make your bet.

I guess I'll be the first one to jump out on a limb and say.... yes.

The only real purpose of litecoin was the scrypt technology for cooler mining and lower difficulty than bitcoin. As we realize how flawed the mining model overall has become, its not a central power of the average Joe using crypto currency for other purposes outside of profits from mining, therefore, I believe litecoin has no shot and something will take its place, and bitshares x, may be that 'something' I don't know.

is there a rich list for BTSX?

With TITAN I don't think it is possible generate such a list automatically.

*confirmed*
every transaction (yes .. every single transaction) goes to a total NEW address ... that address cannot be linked to a accountname
you can only list the 'big' addresses (aka. in bitcoin terms: unspent outputs)

You're supposed to bet money at the website and not just say yes lol

Litecoin is cool and all and I respect what they tried to do, but there are not going to be that many currencies which hold value and Litecoin has little going for it that BTC doesn't have. Faster confirm times that are still fairly slow. Screwed up economics model means no real improvements.

Much to my chagrin, I think Etherium may take the number 2 spot before we do. They have momentum.

But the product is months away from release

True but when it does finally launch, I think there will be a massive rally (and subsequent crash).

How, where would all that new money come from on launch? Most people that wanted into ethereum have already got in on the IPO. I expect price to stay pretty level for a few months (as well as a few dips even possibly).

Ethereum fund raised 9k however market cap is rated on distribution.

yeah. and what they tried/teying to do isn't working anymore because of scrypt asics coming out. and it's gonna get better and better.
you want a new project trying to do what litecoin is doing? take a look at freshcoin: http://www.freshcoin.net

quick quote from the webpage
FRESH mining algorithm

hehe. just saying litecoin was created to be anti-asic. but since there are scrypt asics, then litecoin is kinda losing one of it's original objectives.
just added freshcoin as an option if they really were serious about being 'anti asic'.
it's a better alternative than most POW coins at least.

- primecoin
- fugurecoin
- heavycoin
all of those (and probably more) focus on their POW scheme ... and claim to be asic-res
I am not sure whether a truely anti-asic POW scheme really can exists and not even the ethereum guys (with vitalik) are that certain ..
