What if people could text money through the phone the same way we're texting tips here on the forums. Something like M-Pesa. It works on Kenya http://www.cbsnews.com/news/want-to-text-money-kenya-has-been-doing-it-for-years/

Now imagine being able to text everything like 1 COFFEE, 1 BEER, and every other bitasset that would be accepted. Even if that seems far fetched, people could still change every currency they wanted, dollars, euros, etc

As an example, what if you could send gifts through the phone.

Ie. Send a pair of shoes that would be accepted by some community. For that you would only need to send the bitasset SHOES and then the person could trade it for an actual pair of shoes. Now you can gift worldwide. You could, this way send food to people in the easiest way. Think how much easier would be to help people in Africa for example. You could send money of course but you could also send RICE, etc



Main usage would be currencies of course, I'm just brainstorming a bit though that seems pretty far fetched. Still, as an idea it looks cool. People could create their own micro economies. Local communities could do this to develop themselves.

Yep, not to mention promotial stuff but I think you've already mentioned that.

People could register an account at macdonalds site and get a weekly CHEESE on their accounts that they could redeem on their restaurants. Not that macdonalds needs any marketing but you get the idea. This could pretty much replace coupons
