"An Error Has Occurred!
It seems that you are not allowed to download or view attachments on this board."

I am not able to download the wallet as yet, as i get the above message when registering on the forum. I may not have seen some rules about downloads. Can anyone help me out? I have a lot of coins "missing" from an exchange sent yesterday, but I think I just need the wallet update.

Thanks very much for any help.

provides a model for pets that illustrates the process. There are quite a few of these around now.

Expert advice from doctors is quite variable infact. One possible benefit in a DAC therefore, is that with a decentralized medical consensus system, groups of doctors could provide advice independently, and contribute to a second opinion panel / group response. Although this would dilute the incentives for medical professionals, it could likely provide better quality responses that most accurately represent the current perceived wisdom on specialist subjects.

Bitshares-PTS2 - or another more inspiring name? I like PTS name, just it might be an opportunity to rename / simplify the branding nomenclature, instead of adding a 2; these shares might be argued to no longer be "proto" or early shares, so maybe this would become a misnomer? Also, the full name of the coin is currently Bitshares-PTS, the S also referencing shares for the second time in the same phrase. Possibly, simplify the naming system.

General Discussion / Re: Interview with Toast

I listened to this yesterday. Useful to get these sorts of updates, thanks Toast. Point taken about not giving out 'delivery times' for software. I wondered if a road map or something that sketches out progress markers might be well received, even if no times are specified. Has the order of release for the DACs planned to date been decided yet?

^ I guess, if this isn't automated in some sense within a DAC, then it will be very time-consuming to make large numbers of micro-payouts - that could otherwise accelerate development significantly. It would be good if this was a DAC scheduled for early development, as it would be a fine community builder.

okay so figured it out and managed to start keyhotee..but my founder code and ID do not add up. no point or anything shown but "Invalid ID/FounderKey Pair" ...
I guess you have checked to be sure the Name you chose was correctly capitalized - that might be relevant. If not, message Dan Notestein on this forum. I had a small issue, messaged him and its sorted now.

Keyhotee / Re: Keyhotee Status Update

help pleaseeee

the latest build still doesn work for me.
it just doesnt start up on windows 8 ... idk why :(
1) What link did you use to download?
2) Also, make sure you aren't running an older version.
3) You should probably delete your old profiles by removing the directory: %localappdata%\Keyhotee, then try re-launching Keyhotee.

1) i used the latest one at the start of this thread
2)i uninstalled the one version
3) i couldnt fine this folder :(

and no i tried and sill coulnt start KH
Try this to find the relevant folder. It might be in different position possibly with different versions of Windows or Keyhotee:

Click Start button
Type %appdata% in the search box, press return
Navigate *up* a folder and some more folders should be there - look in those to view your Keyhotee profiles already created. You should find them there.

I think it might be best to move any redundant profiles from the folder, and move to a backup folder on another drive / area of the hard disc.

General Discussion / Decentralized exchange and other alts
« on: April 16, 2014, 09:14:18 am »
I'd like Bitshares as a platform to be able to trade existing alt coins. Will this be implemented? For which coins? For some reason I thought that this is what Bitshares would do, but I am not so sure now if this is being considered. Thanks for any links / update on this.

General Discussion / Re: BitShares Phone Call
« on: April 15, 2014, 12:11:00 pm »
imagine there is a app developed on your *apple* phone or Android phone which allows you make international calls by depositing any bitassets; for eg, pts or bitshares.

Pretty much needed DAC if developed. Pay by bitassets, btc or bts. Works better on international calls rather than local i guess.
Getting this one through the Apple appstore may present a challenge. Still a blockade on crypto wallets on the appstore I think.

Bytemaster, just a polite request, at the time of wallet release please add carefully thought through instructions for enabling/activating POS within the wallet environment, if this is needed. I've seen this implemented quite variably with lots of alt coins. No reason to doubt you won't do this, but please offer a bounty though if appropriate if time is of the essence.

I am guessing you have maybe made POS automatic?

General Discussion / Re: Airdrop Ideas
« on: April 12, 2014, 09:44:46 am »
Bitcointalk banned giveaway threads, and now these have sort of been rekindled with airdrops which are in essence semi-structured giveaways.
? get in quick before they ban airdrops. I guess we need to look at the airdrops and see which one has been most successful in achieving a fair, widespread distribution yet without post-giveaway dumping. To structure airdrops better, would it be possible to take into account coinage and reward those who are longer term holders?
