Deploy and maintain independent BitShares infrastructure
Dear BitShares Community,
given the growth of the BitShares ecosystem, we (Blockchain Projects BV) have been providing a basic infrastructure with the just expired previous infrastructure worker.
That said, we would like to continue to provide the nodes and elastic search APIs that have been deployed with the last worker, the reference faucet has been moved to a new worker.
Read the full details here: https://www.bitshares.foundation/workers/2019-02-infrastructure (https://www.bitshares.foundation/workers/2019-02-infrastructure)
Voting for worker proposals: Votes can be done via the reference wallet. Visit Menu -> Votes -> Workers or enter your account name in the link https://wallet.bitshares.org/#/account/youraccountnamehere/voting (https://wallet.bitshares.org/#/account/youraccountnamehere/voting)
This worker proposal has id 1.14.164 and 201902-infrastructure.
Best Regards,
Stefan Schießl

Hello everyone,
short update on new servers coming up.
We have deployed two new ES instances and deployed the former:
https://us.wrapper.elasticsearch.bitshares.ws/is_alive
https://hk.wrapper.elasticsearch.bitshares.ws/is_alive
https://eu.wrapper.elasticsearch.bitshares.ws/is_alive
The old one
https://wrapper.elasticsearch.bitshares.ws/is_alive
redirects now to eu one.
Direct read-only access to ES is also possible via
https://us.elasticsearch.bitshares.ws/
https://hk.elasticsearch.bitshares.ws/
https://eu.elasticsearch.bitshares.ws/
The two new instances are in U.S.A., Virginia and in China, Hong Kong. The two new ES instances also have a normal node available, which is added to the balancers.
https://us.nodes.bitshares.ws/
https://hk.nodes.bitshares.ws/
https://eu.nodes.bitshares.ws/
The former sg node is discontinued (forwarded to hk). The ES for testnet is also being updated to new version.
We will compile a report soon as well to give more overview.

I'd rather ask witnesses (who have relatively stable income) and 3rd parties who have built business on the top and earning money from customers to play more in the infrastructure field, but feed it less via worker proposals. The baby needs to grow up.

An operation report for the past is appreciated. E.G. how many requests / unique users were served, how much bandwidth, how busy the servers were, data about latency, where to allocate more (or less) resource and why, and etc.
