I've tried for solo mine.
I'm managed to go through connection problems, but have a few nodes with dual Xeon 2450L (32 threads total) and I have a very low CPU usage - between 25 and 60%
I suppose the miner is not optimized for such CPU count, can anything be done on this?

Start it more than once...

But you will only own the PTS mined so far, right?

So it's taking a snapshot at release - or will future pts get credited too?

Are you sure your miner is still doing hpm and not cpm? Because numbers are pretty close to my cpm with other mines and hpm would make yours alot faster...

Miner is still working fine, dont care about web  8)

Mining is working, web frontend...not so much.

Auto payout is set to 5 PTS, web will be available somewhere within 12-24h.

Interesting apporach, will most likely never get accepted by companies like amazon but still, interesting and huge potential - this or something based on it might be the next big thing in the next 5-10 years but gov will always fight this since they'll loose control.

I think this one will become something like TOR, some use it but not the majority...

Hey jh00

I didnt put any address in the payout address thing since i started mining PTS

My miners are connected and mining, will i still have previous balance and will it go to my ypool name?

Im kinda a horder so i collect then i put an address in to payout lol.

Guess that's what the guys who lost 100+btc on btc50 thought too - seriously WHY does anyone keep money in pools?

Fuck ypool amirite? Looks like their pool is down again. We need a pool ran by ppl we can trust ie not Grom and others like rpool.

Back when ltc became "big" every pool was under frequent attack, that's just the way it is - what we need is ONE miner that can do failover to another pool...

OP you do realize that you mine the same amount of coin with or without a botnet...right?

It has NO effect on your payout.

I've heared that bitshares and co aren't launching before PTS is mined out, that will be in 2 years - true? Would be kinda long till then :D

Blocktime is around 3-4 mins now so yes, pretty close.

strangly registered the day before keyhotee...hmmm
this is starting to sound familiar
anyone ever met any of these ppl .... any at all???

ypool isnt some new unknown pool, i highly doubt that they will vanish.

ypool has been around longer than most pts miners on this board...  ;D

59
They should finally settle on one miner and add multiple pool configurations :D

slicify.com has free servers!
Awesome I didn't know about them, thank you!

I tried slicify.com and everytime I found share always invalid share, reason : Share data time underflow.
Any idea how to fix this?

Yeah, set the time :D
https://help.ubuntu.com/10.04/serverguide/NTP.html
Thanks but it won't allow me
14 Nov 13:29:07 ntpdate[4504]: bind() fails: Permission denied
and also when saving the cron file, Permission denied
Any idea?

sudo su
apt-get install ntp
then the ntp command from the link

but some of those slicify instances are odd, booked the i7 but that guy got no internet access configured or something, didnt bother to look much further ^^
