I'm concerned with the concept since Zerohedge just talked about this earlier today about the "begging economy" :/

we need more activity. more comments and discussions to make it interesting. so far it's basically just me posting links to my blog...
if we got some acitivity, we could make a funny/cute ad for reddit

Why not use Quora? Though that does defeat the purpose of remaining anonymous :-\

The tipbot we are working on will soon support reddit.
I'll look into Quora and Medium (later) because those too are some very interesting platforms.

Disqus is another good commenting platform to use.
Since many websites including bignamed one like ign.com are using it as their commenting system.
And a simple google search of "blog comments powered by Disqus + (keyword)" would load any websites talking about your topic of choice using the disqus commenting system. In this case you can replace keyword with bitshares or bitshares 2.0 I hope this helps ^_^

not just reddit, twitter too. It seems easier to have a bigger reach. From that people would flow into r/bitshares

I think twitter would be most effective if a hashtag was created for all bitshare users to rally behind.

The tipbot will soon have UIA integration with twitter support, so enterprises and companies will be able to "tweet" tokens to the end users. This should by live by the weekend.

Nice. Btw, how much does it cost to issue an UIA? Cause it would be nice to have assets similar to changetip so you could tip beers, coffes and all that funny stuff that would make more people tip and create a community.

I was advocating reddit tipbot for long time and was planning to add this feature to the faucet https://github.com/cryptonomex/faucet, now I think I'll hold on with that..
Also I would suggest you a monetization strategy for your tip bot: use referral program to register new users' accounts.
