EV7.py and metaNODE11.py released to github

lots of new niceties related to plotting and logging, improved control over scalping

Live session now rotates through 3 views every 5 minutes.

The EV7/metaNODE11 stack has been

LIVE TESTED WITH FUNDS

for a 1,000,000 second (12 day) run without hiccup or user intervention; buy/sell/cancel and replace all scalp and primary orders every 5 minutes; maintaining a perfect count of 5 minute ticks during the ongoing run.

I quite literally locked a linux box in a room running algo for 2 weeks entirely unattended; it said BTS/BTC bear market when I left.  When I returned it said bull market and had 13% more btc than starting portfolio.  Log file clean.  8)

PRIMARY LIVE VIEW

TRADE DESION LIVE VIEW

SCALPING LIVE VIEW

it ships with a 120X stock 1000 day BTS/BTC tune; my personal tune backtests over 7000X during the same period

BACKTEST

Impressive. I need to fire it up again!

I assume those "coins" are on another Blockchain?

In either case, you will need something that is called a gateway, which takes care of automatically processing deposits and withdrawals. There are of companies that offer that as a service, e.g. Blocktrades.

Are you looking for a service to get or to develop that yourself? There is no out of.the box solution.

General Discussion / Re: Internalizing the Hero

original issuer is hero-foundation, why they sent it over without a word - no idea.

Aha, I somehow thought that there was some kind of background process involved promoting it to a bitAsset. Anyways, I saw that xeroc did the proposal to change the issuer maybe he will shed some light?

The centralized former owner doesn't really affect the concept of the Hero.

Questions that arise in my head:
 - Why was it committee controlled in the first place, and why did no one care so far? How long has it been committee controlled?
 - Is the hero-foundation the rightful owner? Who controls that account?
 - The asset has "Issuer may transfer asset back to himself", with a supply of 932 at a BTS price of roughly 1000 BTS. Independent of why it was committee controlled, it has been created by users with thought of having a trust-worthy bitAsset

It is ready for grading, but later additions that are less integral to the lore correctness of this proposal are planned.

I don't understand what you are saying here, could you please elaborate?

Thanks for the input. I will do some background digging before I can have a proper opinion.

I guess official is the wrong word.

The UI highlights committee account owned Smartcoins with "bit" in the front, which symbolizes for me a higher level of trust in it. This makes it special compared to other SmartCoins as the committee governance reduces risk of abuse. (Where is the Lambo fav? :))

Was the hero always committee owned?

Your post made me curious so I checked. Right now 7 committee members or witnesses (haven't checked which is which) are providing price feed.

As an official bitAsset I agree that this needs to be advertised as it insinuates a level of confidence in the feed.

Thanks for the feedback.

Hope to see another report from the past activities in China!

This creates an incentive to disclose weaknesses, and as we see in from other bigger companies it is a very known approach to get attention from white hat initiatives and it cetainly only strengthens the network.

In the best case this worker creates curiosity but no one finds an actual exploit, reducing the cost to the monthly fixed fee. In the worst case the full 250k, but in such a case some serious flaws will be vanquished and that 250k save us bad publicity.

+1

Technical Support / Re: how to remove public data from my exchange
« on: July 07, 2018, 07:26:32 pm »
Did you setup a private testnet, or a only a new node for the public testnet?

First case: Your chain is already empty

Second case: You must add filters to the UI to hide the other activity. You cant empty the public mainnet.

This includes almost all pointers you need

How to create a coin I already answered in another thread.

Ah, that means all the time spent answering by me or anyone else in this forum were in veign, as our answers were not useful.

I do hope you find a motivated person to work out the details as your use case seems interesting.

Hope to hear from you with results again!
