Title: Is Bitshares ME coming? or has already been released
Post by: jwiz168 on July 30, 2014, 04:20:30 am
I got an idea for a DAC but Bitshares ME is not yet launched. When will it be?

Use BTSX... it should do the ME's job just fine (when markets become fact)....

So issuing user-defined assets in BTSX is indeed Bitshares ME ?  It costs too much :(

It sure does cost a ton, imo.
I did not say it is ME.
I said it can be used instead of ME, if one is in a hurry.

AFAIK ME is a different chain and the promise was that it also will be snapahotted from pts/aga

I will buy a ticket to watch how it is split from X, and yet  honors AGS, PTS.

Fun stuff.

I won't honour BTSX, only AGS/PTS at 50/50.

What about those people that paid 200k BTSX on BTS X exchange to register their assets. Leave them hanging?

You still can decide on which chain to trade .. no need to reregister on a different chain (with atomic-cross chain trading this will be amazing, btw)

Elegant indeed. Did not think of that.

Now back to how to make DPOS, friendly to all BTC miners... WE will need all of them to run delegates soon enough, with so many chains coming.

BTSX has expensive user-issued assets because it is for serious stuff.
ME will be a separate chain with different branding and a few other minor modifications, and UIAs will be cheap because it is for fun

That's not really how it works
