Title: Question about PTS snapshot on 8/21
Post by: dankeykang on August 19, 2014, 11:32:39 pm: Hello, I am very .new to this forum. And I have a question about the PTS snapshot on 8/21.

I have some PTS in a wallet, and I wanted to know what will happen with this snapshot deal? Will I recieve something? What will I be credited with? I understand that by owning PTS that 10% of future DAC will be creditited to PTS owners, but how will we recieve this? I'm just very confused on what is happening, and WHAT I NEED to do.

Any help is greatly appreciated! If you feel like directing me to some wiki page or something, then don't bother. I need detailed information, and I just cant get much from those pages. Thanks.

Post by: toast on August 19, 2014, 11:38:56 pm: you don't need to do anything, when the dac is released you just import your wallet and any pts keys that had a balance at the end of august 21 will be credited with stake in the new dac

IE the last block on 8/21 before midnight GMT?

i just sent some from Poloniex to my home wallet. The PTS arrived home within minutes. Not sure about it going the other way, since the exchanges don't credit your account until the designated number of confirmations are achieved, but it shouldn't be too long. maybe 30 minutes? pretty sure it would be under an hour. Just to be safe, i'd get my PTS to where it needs to go for snapshot credit, well before the deadline.
