Title: Security for wallet export
Post by: biophil on July 20, 2014, 05:22:10 pm
This is probably obvious, but when we export a BTSX wallet to a .json file, the exported keys are encrypted by our wallet password, right?

I was shocked to find that if you open the .json file by notepad, all the private keys and account information can be displayed, without any encryption. Does that mean if our computer is hacked, all the fund will be lost?

Private keys are encrypted, everything else is not.
