Any thoughts on how to clear that silly 0.04 debt also welcomed .. i sold to some lucky souls slightly above the price feed, thinking that would erase the debt (yeah, no) .. as far as I can see there's only two options, buying more or shorting more.. the next order is 50%+ away from the settlement price and shorting more seems like an awful idea :)

To pay your debt you need BTWTY.

http://docs.bitshares.org/bitshares/user/pm.html
It is covered by collateral in bitUSD, which means borrowers taking the risk of Tether failure.
You don't have to own any Tether. If market is resolved to true 1USDTETHERDEFAULT = bitUSD.

Please note that power of how market is resolved lays in hand of issuer, rest is guaranteed by blockchain contract.

General Discussion / Re: DEX Trading fees

A 1% fee
B 1% fee

Someone is selling 100 B and wants 100 A for that.

You'll need 101 A to clear that order/ 1 A goes to issuer of A -> 99 B goes to you/ 1 B goes to issuer of B.
Someone pays no fees.

I think this is how it works, but not sure.

Technical Support / Re: Ligth wallet password VS online password

You must import your backup there.
Backup, which is your key is encrypted by that password.
Click options icon, then:

Switch to advanced mode if you're using Openledger.
Or click restore from backup on the welcome page.
At bitshares.org/wallet chose wallet model -> restore from backup

from 2:45 is what you need to do, however GUI looks different now.

General Discussion / Re: Graphene GUI testing and feedback

Any plans to make MPA's average user friendly? I'm not sure what would we be possible through GUI without much effort.
What I want  is ability to provide feed by hand, same issue with prediction market. I did some tests and could not find any options responsible for that.
Next, I can't find MCR and SQP options - I"m almost sure this was available before.

Do I need full node to run MPA with my own feed? For my needs simple in GUI feed providing would be enough.
I think minimum what must be done now is simple warning for users: " Don't touch this,  you will be unable to provide feed and change market options through GUI" - something like that.
Same goes for others features not ready yet.

In BitShares wallet:
deposit/witdraw -> transfer service: Openledger (OPEN.X).

There you'll find contact for support.

@sahkan
You're right on this one. In order to find, for examle DASH:BTS you have to set BTS tab as active. In order to make that market visible you have to click the grey star. And finally, search full name of asset, in this case OPEN.DASH - prefix is hidden in the GUI.
This is confusing and I'm afraid facelift is not enough.

DASH is visible by default, unless you're using an old client.  And no, to locate other assets using Find Market, you do NOT need to enter the prefix.  So no, sahkan was not right.  And neither are you.
DASH serves as example, there is many assets not visible by default, but yeah - after rethinking i must agree that searching only active tab is better approach. Without prefix I'll receive: DASH, DASH, OPENDASH - where first DASH is OPEN.DASH and second just DASH. In other hand if i search (better example) BTC, I'll find all BTC related assets sorted by volume, which is nice.

I'd like to write some articles on steemit about all of this and how financial privacy matters, but I don't want people to come and check Bitshares out only to realize that confidentiality is still a year away.

Hey, nice to see you here.
Is there any chance that we can read summary of your survey? YES/NO
Still have that in mind. I realize that participation was probably to low but some of us answered bunch of questions.

If YOU are asking such questions it only goes to show how poor we are at marketing and planing (...)
He just asked what's that smell. I think that's why he is the biggest proxy.
