Seems to be a bit of a gamble to buy atm. Although I'm sure the music team is doing a good job behind the scenes.

How about it?
Note isn't cheap enough to buy right now. We don't know what it will do yet.
I do think it will eventually have some value if it's developed and maintained but it's going to have a lot of competition from Ethereum with no guarantee that it will be maintained. It will take a lot to maintain and extend it from the current form and the price of that is what I look at when I determine how much a Note is worth.

I read it as, "Go ahead but it's a premature move that will result in more work than it's worth down the road so be prepared to field that mess too".

Multiple snapshots are possible but obviously not desirable. We will make an update outlining the roadmap for notes and associated blockchain(s), including which components are undecided.

Hopefully it will be released before Moonstone crowdfunding ends. I don't want to convert NOTE to BTS under the presale price :'(
