Title: Is Bitshares a "trustless exchange"?
Post by: kripeecakes on August 26, 2014, 05:14:17 pm
I have been reading some of the posts about how Nubits is attempting to become the first "trustless exchange".

From what I gather, it seems this has been achieved with Bitshares with the BitUSD option trades ...

Trustless exchanges eliminates "negative volatility" or reduces it by zeroing out internal exchange manipulation.

External "bad actors" can not be eliminated.

thoughts?

Yes... you only have to "trust the market consensus" and trade accordingly.
