Now I'm glad I keep my muse tokens. I'll have to fire up my muse wallet this weekend and see, what I got.

Thanks, karnal. Here's post in question:

constantin-ag:

Kencode,

We have met in Munich a few weeks ago. Back then, I was very impressed by Christoph and his presentation during House of Nakamoto in Austria.

In fact, I had my money set up to invest in his company, BitShares Munich, and support it fully, with my time and my contacts,

Then, I met you.

In our first meeting, statements have been made by you that forced me to change my mind. Not only did you not accept any offer I have made to you with statements like "over my dead body", but you also insulted your business partners Christoph and Rodrigo while talking to me, a potential investor. This appeared to me as very unprofessional.

I still liked Christoph and wanted to support him and his business. We made our usual thorough background investigations.

For those that haven't done their due diligence, here some links and facts we have found:

Still, because of my faith in Christoph, his plans and opportunities, the interest I have in the community and the ecosystem; I wanted to find a peaceful resolution through my lawyers to this and not create unnecessary drama. You were invited to multiple meetings over the last 6 weeks by your employer, you choose not to appear. Subsequently you leave us no alternatives but to confront your current malpractices. It is our every intention to protect current investors in Blockpay.

I think your the guy @onceuponatime wanted to talk to.

I'm an investor in Blockpay. And I have big plans for it. I wasn't not going to make my plans public just yet, but @Thom got me motivated.

I'm involve in building a large theme restaurant. I want it to be the first business in my area to accept digital cash. We got a reality TV show interested and doing a show at our place. And I'll make sure Blockplay gets notice. But if Blockpay is not a thing in the future, I'll look else were.

Just my 2 bitshares

@Stan You mentioned your talk being "live televised."  Any info on how we can catch it this weekend?  I've read all the links etc and still wondering if this whole thing is going to be televised or streamed or what?!

It's suppose to rain all through this Memorial day weekend were I live. It would be nice if you could give me something to watch @Stan.

I got tired of wondering what's going on with stealth, so I asked @kenCode what the deal is and he said his team resumed work on it some time ago and the public testnet is probably less than a month away.  That was really great to hear!

Not to mention, apparently libsnark has been replaced by Confidential Assets (CA).  This is fantastic because with CA, transactions are much faster than with libsnark (which apparently slow down transactions by at least 40 seconds).  Also, with CA there is no "trusted setup" issue like zcash and other libsnark implementations have.  Anyone who has followed the "trusted setup" controversy even a little bit knows that it's a big deal.  So this is a very positive development for Bitshares!

Today is Blockpays 1st year anniversary. With all the negativity going around here, I decide to do something positive for Blockpay. Here is a little steemit post I did: http://bit.ly/2q1S56b

General Discussion / Re: Dan's Next Project - EOS Rears its Head
« on: May 17, 2017, 01:03:02 am »
It's like moving our store from inside our own house to the shopping mall of someone else to operate under their new rules and not ours.
Today BitShares shareholders do have 100% control over the application, the blockchain itself and its settings. That's power we would probably lose running on EOS.
It's like moving a centralized exchange to BitShares ^^
Not saying it does not come with benefits but also not without risks.
I've known this to be true for years but right now is the first time I truly appreciate 100% shareholder control.
Is BTS 2.0 the first company in history to be able to say that with 100% confidence?

Just remember that Dan can not do anything to the Bitshares DAC without our shareholder vote.

But think a little while how well Bitshares has worked so far... From technical standpoint there shouldn't be anything that prevents it being a TOP5 blockchain. But the community hasn't been able to use the technology to grow the ecosystem.

Would it be really a bad thing if a community like that would lose some of the control? What's the point of having control if it's used ineffectively?

Just remember that Bitshares is a DAC. Dan can not do anything to it without the shareholder vote.

A workable link: http://bit.ly/2qf7ALC

bitsharestalk.org needs a 'how to use' thread. To many people get the posting links wrong.

And how to post images. Even @Stan can get this wrong.

I just happened to encounter project  VIVA at Steemit
http://blog.vivaco.in/
Do you have an idea what the difference is compared to BitShares and/or Graphene???
There is just a beta exchange (we have DEX, OPENLEDGER) and some projects which IMO are just idea fare from reality eg.
MedicAxess, POETS, VOTABIT (do you remember Follow My Vote now on our graveyard) Also the question is how to make money on it.
CASHOLA seem good idea but BLOCKPAY is done(or almost)

I did notice on Steemit that VIVA coin was fishing for people form bitshares (and the supporters of) to come to their side. Is the grass greener on the other side?

It may be that the future of BTS 3.0 is on a parallel EOS chain just like Peerplays is on a parallel Graphene chain.

I am unfamiliar with the process of a new coin sharedropping on an existing chain. Is the sharedrop in the genesis block or something?

A randomly picked block within a set time period. And no one knows which block was pick until the actual sharedrop. This keep people from gaming the system.

I don't think it's likely that HERO will pay effective returns of 5%. If you look very closely, HERO can only offer a maximum of 5% return; if it consistently trades above the price feed, it will offer lower returns. Sadly, if it trades above the price feed, it isn't 100% backed by BTS in collateral, which destroys one of its main value propositions.

Stan is talking like this thing is a free lunch (cue him telling me that he's not; judge for yourself), but it's rarely that simple. I don't frequent this forum much any more, but I've been posting about HERO over on Steemit:
