MemoryCoin / Re: TOP 100. The richest addresses. Jan 12, 2014
« on: January 12, 2014, 02:29:17 am »
can we identify these addresses?
I'm sure my bter address doesn't contain the amount of MMC in the wallet lookup.

Maybe one of them are bter's address or Freetrade's*

Oh and the top address got 5000 more MMC.

I hooked up a power meter to my PC while it was mining. Horrible spikes +/- 250Watts
The time in between work is completely devastating and causes power spikes. I can smell my PCIE power cable burning with the spikes in Ampage. (Now replaced, but I had a one PCIe to PCIe 6 pin and 8 pin.)
Please run an idle process that consumes electricity on the GPU to prevent the surges.
This is what those whining chokes are there for, actually. I cannot imagine such an idle process: cores are idle while memory controllers do their job pulling or writing the data to VRAM. Probably you could run cgminer along with MMC miner like itsik78 does here: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=1784.msg25795#msg25795

lol. mine while you mine... meh seems like mining twice is healthier than once.

I just use this one: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/PHP_developer_intro
Thanks, that's fairly simple -- but also then points to the python bitcoin libraries xD

Do you only sell or buy MMC?
And why is the price so high if you are selling MMC?

I made a new service.

http://agran.net/getbalance.php

Here you can find the balance of any wallet.
Very nice, Agran.
Looks like you have 4k MMC.

Which library did you use to integrate bitcoin with PHP?
Python?

Looks good from the coding side.
This could be something good.
Post your address for tips!

Chrome reports "mc2miner-0.1d-win64.zip is malicious, and Chrome has blocked it." It downloads correctly on IE. Must be rapidshare.

Thanks. 5000MMC on its way to you. Keep up the good work.
Try not to include 25 seconds of donation CPU time in the next version after receiving ~$2k -- I know that you just got the tip. ;)

Intel I5 2500k stock clock gets 1.6H/m with --noavx.
LINUX Dual L5639 now gets 7.89 H/m [[up from 6.0]] --noavx --threads 256

AMD CPUs gain 8-14% using --noavx

Make a portion of the charity donate to help plant trees.
This will be effective for the coin to reduce the CO2 emissions generated by our miners.

It will also spark social interest even more.

MemoryCoin / Memorycoin Lottery Idea [In Development]
« on: January 10, 2014, 06:38:48 am »

Please let me know your thoughts or suggestions for the lottery before I create the lotto system.
Here I can demonstrate my Lottery System (In words)
  • Ticket fees increase as more tickets are placed: ex. 12MMC for the first ticket, 14 MMC for the second, etc.. it discourages multiple entries and spirals the jackpot prize. ... 6 tickets = 100-ish MMC
  • Payout of 97.1968%
  • Megaspinner takes about 2 minutes for the first segment, a 30 minute pause, and then the final round will determine the winner #.. It requires a ton of randomization code. the spin can also be watched live on your web browser (ajax?)
  • Tickets are shuffled 36 times, and a random number is picked (1-36) 100 times -- The most picked random number will be used as the ticket index. numbers are then picked from the index 100 times and sorted from most to least picked.
A random integer from 1 to 1,000,000 is then chosen -- >500,000 = the most picked will be the winner list, <500,000 will choose the most unpicked list.
  • If multiple entries are chosen the same amount of times, they will have a round-off to be placed in the list from first to last. this may be good or bad, depending on if the list is least picked or most picked
  • The winner's list will then be respun 30 minutes later using a different algorithm.
  • Between the amount of winners: a list of their numbers are generated 50 times randomly.

A list of numbers are then generated from 1 to 50 until all the numbers equal the same number. This will be the special list used when sorting out the winners.

**An array of numbers between 0 and 1 will be generated 50 times until they either all equal 0 or 1. [0- most picked, 1- least picked.]

The numbers from the lists are then tallied up and sorted out from most picked or least picked.

The payouts will be paid out from first to last.

Payout Division - Jackpot System (2.8032% is kept by the house)
  • < 175 MMC - 1 Winner
  • > 175 MMC - Two Winners - Payout split - 72%, 28%
  • > 500 MMC - Three Winners - Payout split - 67%, 21%, 12%
  • > 1250 MMC - Four Winners - Payout Split - 63%, 19%, 13%, 5%
  • >2500 MMC - Five Winners - 54%, 21%, 14%, 7%, 4%
  • >5000 MMC - Six Winners - 47%, 21%, 13%, 10%, 6%, 3%
  • >10,000MMC - Seven Winners - 43% 19%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 4%, 2%

MemoryCoin / Re: Value of MMC Going down
« on: January 10, 2014, 12:54:14 am »
There is going to be a market equilibrium between GPU profitability in Litecoin and GPU profitability in MMC.

That being said, Price can dip to as low as .00028 with the current difficulty.

So we could restrict to coins that have sufficient liquidity - should still be dozens of them.

How do you plan on having this system work?
Hold their alt coins or sell them for BTC, then buy MMC? That may move the MMC market a bit.

Well, most of the downward pressure is from the steady selling by miners...looks like about 400 MMC/hr.  We could keep payout rates lower than that if it's just one website.

Combine that with a demonstration of market research capabilities.

Let's say a website with just a poll of crypto-currency related questions.  You vote in btc/ltc/ftc, and a winner is picked after so many votes and paid out in MMC.  Then take a rake/fee from the total?

Most people may not think twice about spending an FTC to vote if combined with a lottery.

May be a good way to bring some outside currency into the MMC economy?

First question could just be "What is your favorite cryptocurrency?"

If you really wanted to be evil, you'd just list unknown / unpopular alt coins that most haven't heard about...hope they go searching to look...

That's quite a genius idea - A lottery that you can enter using any Crypto, but payouts are in MMC. Any other coins doing something like that?
I believe that there will be issues with that, considering a lack of market liquidity for some coins.
We may as well allow people to convert their coins to MMC through third parties (individuals) to have the same effect.

Freetrade, as you know, I am in the process of creating the lottery system.
I am increasing the amount of winners the higher the jackpot and reducing the % won by a small but significant amount.

The most amount of winners are 7 with a jackpot greater than 10,000 MMC.
The cheapest, earliest ticket entry price is 13MMC. (It becomes more expensive as more entries are processed.)

Reaching above 10,000MMC Jackpot and seven winners requires about 600 entries and only 43% is rewarded to the luckiest ticket in the lottery.

I plan to have weekly lotteries, but it will become bi-weekly if more people enjoy this idea.
I also plan to keep the payout rate at 98.1968%. Only 1.8032% is kept by the house for development.
