Your issue is different from OP.
You need to rescan.

The topic says migration without backup file, and I have a WIF key (same as brainkey?) and no backup file because the old network won't sync! how do I sync to 0.9.3c how do I rescan if there are no nodes? Anyone running 0.9.3c nodes? Is there a  0.9.3c bootstrap somewhere?

Private contact is an alias to a private key.
Private contact is an alias to a public key.
If you already have a private account, adding private contact with the same key will just rename your private account, this is not a bug.

He said "if you add another one", so I supposed he was trying to add another key...anyway

Do you need some info from the console for the bugs I mentioned eariler?

If your "add" only change the name of the previous one and not acually add a new contact, then this behavior is just a bug.

I would like to point out that we give almost a month to evaluate the fee schedule.

We repeatedly asked for community review and comments.
We repeatedly bumped the thread about the fee schedule.

Do not follow a discussion about fee that obviously could impact your business, above all when we make clear we needed review from the community and business partners, is a bit strange and not a good behaviour for your business itself, imo.


Anyway, we are already discussing about it, and I personally hope we would be able to push this change asap.

I personally like more the on-demand issue/burn scheme than the pre-issue one.

How did you export the backup from 0.9.3c?
Through the menu or the console?

If you used the menu option, please use the console method instead
