I am compiling a list of what appears to be the top contenders in decentralized and encrypted:
- "Cloud" services for Email and Contacts - ?
- VPN's that are not in EU, NAU or any other "Union" - Le VPN
- Browsers that mask me - Tor
- "Cloud" services where I can store my data and access it from anywhere - Storj
- VoIP, Chat, Videoconferencing - Tox, Telegram, Jitsi
It's not really that easy to disappear yet it seems. Am I missing any other apps that might work on my linux mint pc and android? Should I dump Android as well and go with an alternative hardened OS on it?
Thanx guys for any leads.. :)

Tribler is a cool little program for torrenting anonymously (though it is very slow at present to use this feature)
looks like a pretty solid list though as far as i can tell. Oh Mega.nz is also a really good filestorage site that encrypts all uploads.

How many VPNs are run by spooks? Great way to run a honeypot.

Great point. It's one of the main reasons why I am looking at VPN's where their network is located outside of Unions, inside of poor countries, etc.
