After migrating my wallet to the 2.0 GUI i'm sitting on about a dozen open short positions from 1.0.

How can we get rid of these account's after we have close our positions and we don't need them anymore?
I remember @ the beginning we could just "unfollow" them (of course that was dangerous because we could accidentally loose track of our open positions)...
is it possible the system unfollow's them automatically when the position is closed and is empty of funds?

General Discussion / Re: Lowering Transfer Fees
« on: October 22, 2015, 07:28:14 am »
I think I've discovered a reasonable explanation why the current transaction fees are perceived by some of us here as too high.
We are generally BTS holders and the reason we hold our BTS is because we feel they are actually worth much more than their current market value.

So we perceive spending 20 BTS (and now even 40 BTS) as a significant expense because we take into account the expected future value of BTS.
In other words, in the not-so-far future 40 BTS might be worth much more in terms of fiat than it is now so it feels very expansive. It feels like the we are forced to sacrifice part of our core investment just to make a transaction.
But a non BTS-holder won't necessarily feel this way.

Does it make sense?

Would it make sense when the system  displays the fee for a transaction from basic members it saids something like:

"If you upgrade to lifetime/annual membership you get a 80% discount for all your fees, for this transaction you would pay X BTS"

so we promote our product to newcomers without needing them to find out on our forums...

Massive amount of shorting going on right now.

They'll have to cover later.

Before that happens there is a real chance that the buy support may collapse totally due to forced liquidations. I wonder what the effect on the internal market will be, it may severely cripple it.

would nice to support the buy orders on poloniex and update the collateral ratio up to x4 internal...

Since you can change your debt and collateral at will, how do you keep track of your short being a profit/loss if you forget your initial margin trade price?

Good question!

Can you add a % profit/loss indicator next to our  debt ?
profit: green % output
loss: red % output

General Discussion / Re: Fee Adjustments
« on: October 20, 2015, 09:58:22 pm »
By setting the price low you devalue the service we offer.   Raising the price means we know what we offer provides value.

We are setting the price low one particular day per week (maybe our worst/low volume day) so we attract new members... The members that register because they was attracted by our "one day offer" would never make profit for us...
Imagine it like a pizzeria that gives every Tuesday 3 pizzas of the prize of one OR every Tuesday it offers "eat as you can for just $10!"

So 1.we attract new members and 2.we create traffic on a dead trading day & 3.Some become lifetime members since they are now convinced it has value.... :)

PS that would be an opportunity also for micro-trading from basic accounts from the "poor" people... Good marketing!

edit:
I just now realized you thought I was proposing to lower the lifetime fee also that  day (absolutely NOT!) :)

I don't think Liondani means the LTM membership fee is halved but rather the transfer fees are lower on that day so that they match what LTM members pay for transfers.

EXACTLY!
