Will there be any special kind of payout before the 28th? I know the payouts occur per .1 PTS, but it would be nice if there was a one time payout before the 28th.
Yes, we are planning to pay out all account balances above 0.01 PTS on 26th.

Does it really has that fee on 1gh? ;) Because this is the part of protocol we decided to ignore, does not feel fair.
Not 1gh get fee. Look dev. readme:

PtsGPUz v0.4 (2014-01-28):
MD5 of PtsGPUz0.4.exe: 766a4dd7a1babfff176df3855c70caf0
1. Supports to AMD display card added.
2. Fee rate reduced to 5%.
3. SM (Shader Model) 3.5 code generation added for Nvidia card like GeForce GTX 780Ti.
Net performance list for AMD cards:
HD7850, 1024SP, 256bit, 2GB: 470-500 collisions/minute.
HD6670, 480SP, 128bit, 1GB:  100-110 collisions/minute.
Yes, the point is, ypool has implemented a 'developer donation' feature in their protocol where it sends a fraction of each share reward to addresses the miner sends in special field. The problem with it is it is done silently, without warning user. So if the miner uses this feature to pay developer, his fee will not be sent by 1gh. But if it openly reconnects with another credentials to mine for developer, it will work of course.

So is the PtsGPUz miner worth it from a net performance perspective? The cpm always seems higher even with 5 percent taken out vs the miner listed on the 1gh site, but maybe I'm missing something. Thanks.
Yes, it is worth trying, of course.

Hi
I meet this problem too in MSI 7850 Hawk 2G.

Most likely you have too little system RAM in your rig/PC, especially if you have multiple cards.

Hey guys, been awhile since I last mined PTS but gave up on all the crapcoins and pointing my miners back to PTS.

Is there any Updated guides on setting up Yam miner on Ubuntu? Went through some pages of this thread but couldn't find anything.

Any help would appreciated.

Thank you.
It does not require much setup actually, just download the build that is right for your CPU. Or is it something specific you do not know how to set up?

is 1gh is down?

Error 522 Ray ID: ff8c3966d5f0673
Connection timed out

What happened?
The initial connection between CloudFlare's network and the origin web server timed out. As a result, the web page can not be displayed.
It was under heavy DDoS, now recovered.

I have this error message:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "pts-miner.py", line 7, in <module>
  File "miner.py", line 1747, in miner.run (miner.c:14711)
  File "miner.py", line 1660, in miner.filter_devices (miner.c:13193)
IndexError: list index out of range
What commandline do you use to start the miner?

well the miner work, adding -I 10 throw that error
The miner only understands device numbers on its commandline, like '0-0', '0-1'. The '-I 10' is not going to work, unfortunately (I have edited the message)

How to adjust the intensity of the gpu miner? I can't use the while the miner is running.
Thx
Edit: initially I posted about my another miner.
The PTS miner does not have anything like intensity setting, all work is done in a single thread that runs for relatively long and cannot be interrupted.

Perhaps you have other OpenCL SDKs in the system than AMD too? Please try running the miner without parameters and use numbers it prints after 'Worker' to select the device.

Is it just short term luck or something else that has caused this 48 hour dip in blocks found
Just luck, and high variance at hashrate that low.

when I run the unbuntu version on my linux box(both for a centos6 and a fedora18 box), I got the following messages:
Code: [Select]
%./pts-miner
./pts-miner: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.1.0.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

would you please compile the program statically?
Not possible unfortunately, it also has libc dependencies specific to Ubuntu. I could make a fedora build though, when I get some time. Or rather opensource the miner at this point, have to decide yet.

yvg1900's yam is statically linked, and it works fine on my centos6 box, it should be possible.
With python cxfreeze it is not only about the static linking, unfortunately.

Someone on the pool is currently mining with an invalid address MSHCq1xdATTbwiZ2waTXkj4Akncjzh1T4V (address checksum does not match). We advise the owner to switch it to a valid one because payments to this one cannot be done.

Are payouts stuck on some accounts?  My confirmed balance is 37 MMC but it's stopped paying out. Thanks!

They were stuck indeed. Unstucked now, sorry for the inconvenience!

By far the best that was ever done for the coin. Voted my first time.
