Always some idiot whale who doesnt realize he can easily sell the bts slowly over time at 2000+, he has to market dump to 1600 to try to kill bts while he gets out with less money.

blogpost from Azure has not come out yet, that may cause "the" rise

What about having the same but for Google Cloud Platfrom? It's one more platform, gives us more reach. Also the rest is only in Azure while we would be in two platforms.

Can't everything just be reused?

I will look into both Google and Amazon offerings.  If they have template-based deployment solutions similar to Azure, I should expect it will be relatively easy to adapt them.  I expect the Bash script to remain nearly unchanged.

Cool! Thanks for your hard work Fox!

How secure is Poloniex?  They have a lot of BTC and BTS there, would be a shame if something happened...

The precise moment I read this comment I pictured you like this

The fan side seems user friendly and similar to other platforms with the addition of the tokens feature. That's nice. People will already be familiar with it and can go viral. Exactly what BitShares lacks

General Discussion / Re: Problem with trading on DEX

Suppose, I want to make market for bitSilver. I borrow 1 bitSilver into existence and place an order to sell it for BTS. After this, I can't place sell orders on other markets, Silver:USD, Silver:CNY etc... This is wrong. This removes liquidity from DEX. I should be able to place sell orders for 1 silver on multiple markets, and if one of them is (partially) filled, all others should be automatically updated to adjust to my available funds.
Interesting. Can you sell your BTS in both BTC38 and Polo at same time?

Isnt this where autobridging comes in? Its donr automatically user only needs to place one order

What's better than being on an Azure blogpost? Being on Azure and Google blogposts  :P

Well this is fun, are people responding the the new fee structure or is it just AzureĀ“s specualtion ?

Azure speculation most likely. People just want to ride the pumps. However if you check on cryptofresh, filled orders and transfers have been slightly increasing in our DEX, that is a good sign and may be happening because of the new fee structure

We lack a "Get listed on BitShares DEX" button on bitshares.org

Nice idea, Anyone disagree with this?

i say go for it!

Paging @cass

Edit:  One of our long time member, Adam listed his coin LTBcoin in counterparty.  Perhaps we can invite him to move LTBcoin to bts.

ok and what should happen when user hits the button?

Took the thought right out of my brain Cass. Getting "listed" involves much more than slapping a link on a website. We need a complete and simple step by step plan of what it takes for people who know very little about BitShares to integrate on our DEX. Frankly I don;t even know what it would take for a "foreign" coin to be tradeable. Are we talking something like an IOU UIA such as Open.BTC or something else?

It could link to BitShares documentation about that.

For example, there is already documentation on how to get an exchange working on top of BitShares, we should have the same like "Deploy your Exchange on BitShares" and having it redirect to http://docs.bitshares.eu/integration/exchanges/index.html

I've day traded for 10 years and I would never trade on our Dex in its current form.  It doesn't have the most basic tools that traders need.

You have to shout out loud, which exactly tools you need as a trader. We all should listen.
MT4, mentioned times.

Does a MT4 plugin require the same licence stuff as MT4 integration? I was under the impression a plugin would be more simple and cheaper. Am I wrong? When people say "integration" and "plugin" they're mentioning the same thing? I got confused.

1.
Liquidity with more market pairs will attract new traders.  Traders on Poloniex for example want to get in and out of a lot of different crypto currencies, they may not care at all about the underlying technology.  If BTS can provide a fraction of this, we can attract them as low hanging fruit.  We should however be strategic and not have knee jerk reactions how to get this done.  Perhaps we can compare the current options (if any are actually required) on this Friday's mumble.

2.
Any updates on API support providing ease of access to developers?  Dev's will want something easy to work with and build applications around.

3.
Any chance of integration with something like BitMessage for secure messaging?  I keep thinking back to the Keyhotee days and do not see any other crypto going after this feature.  Even if this needs to be tied to a third party service like adding a troll box to the exchange.

1. We have many market pairs, however with our current volume we can't support that. I guess we need to start with the most important ones. That's what we are trying to accomplish with all these liquidity incentives discussions lately.

2. Xeroc is doing live coding sessions which should give people an incentive to try it out. It's on youtube. BitShares as an API similar to Poloniex for traders, however that isn't documented yet.

3. Yes, a trollbox would be a great addition, many people have expressed their desire for this feature.
