« on: June 25, 2019, 07:03:06 am »This conference's academic track could be an interesting place to send an initial paper for my university research project if it ends up being funded. The submission deadline is July 15th, which is very tight -- but probably possible.
If it all works out and BitShares does sponsor the conference, having BitShares-funded academic research presented there as well could look quite good!
Thoughts?
Would be awesome to add some academic publications here.

Please note that BTS is not an appropriate abbreviation for BitShares. BTS is the core token, and that usage causes confusion (and has caused a lot of confusion especially in the regulatory area). I would suggest to not use that abbreviation for any kind of marketing.
Furthermore it was mentioned there would be an escrow, but from the account that has created the worker it it seems that this idea was abandoned. Could you please comment on that?

Thats a key factor imo which is stopping many webmasters to promote bitshares.
Do the marketing such that the community pays the LTM for webmasters. Send serious webmasters to me and I will hook them up. Also has the benefits that we know who they are and we can establish first contact right away.

Especially the smartcoin, who produced the smartcoin, did the producer get any benefit from it?
Especially market fee to 0.1%, you can't give the service which compare to the CEX.
I would also not mind a lower fee (e.g. 0.04%). The cashback is an aweseome incentive IMO and should be set independent of market fee.

comparing to the daily BTS release via worker proposal budget, the market fee accumulation is so few that can be ignored and will not generate obvious effect.
I prefer to set smartcoins 100% market fee sharing, I believe this will greatly encourage users to become lifetime member and invite more users to come to BTS ecosystem.
this is a much better way to use the smartcoin market fee than "buy back BTS and burn".
Now that's something!
