Let the fun begin... delegates publish your feeds if you feel the network is ready.
blockchain_get_feeds_for_asset USDwallet_publish_price_feed <delegate_account> 0.035645 USD 0.035 USD [/code]
The median price feed will be used once 51 delegates publish. As long as the median is within 10% of the actual price we should be good. I recommend delegates update their feed anytime the price changes by 5%.
Those that have placed orders may want to make some adjustments... the current order book seems to have a price around $0.008 / BTSX

Only active delegates can publish a feed, it costs the normal transaction fee.

Oh ok, that's why it's not working.
Feel free to vote for me.. just got everything set up on a digital ocean VPS in San Fran w/ Ubuntu.. should be stable and such. ;D

rofl, price is bulling BECAUSE the feeds are being set, so updating feeds very frequently the next few hours and days would be optimal i think! gogo Delegates, you can do eet! :)

Thank you, I'll keep an eye on it. I'm happy to burn through some of my delegate pay to bootstrap this thing. That's what it's there for :) . I updated my revenue tracking spreadsheet to track this +/- percentage live for my delegate. This will satisfy my need to keep refreshing something hahah.

And depth of >20 000 000 BTSX in USD/BTSX market should trigger it.

Right now that can only be done on the CLI... once we clear out the low asks then the orders will stop being stupid, but we need to get 20M BTSX in depth.

Right now you cannot start with more than necessary.
We have not exposed the API to increase collateral, right now you have to partially cover. So the steps to have additional collateral are:
Buy 100 BitUSD
Short 1000 BitUSD
Cover 100 BitUSD
Result: 20% extra margin...

I think its clear that we need some automated tools like this. The price has already moved more than 10% and most delegates are still publishing .035~ Care to explain exactly what this does and how to use it?
Are there any other tools people have put together?

if the depth still not enough,
maybe the price will double after 1 hour
all the ask order will change price to 0.07,
but the short price is limit to 0.038*110%
somebody must ask at low price to save the market

I think it is top priority to let the users to choose more collateral than 2X...
A correction will come normally...
and having more collateral will support BTSX price much better!

Well we are half way there aren't we? Bid depth is 1M and Ask depth is 9M.
Edit: We are almost there at 20M, this is so exciting :)

Simplified instructions:
1) If you think BTSX is in a bubble then buy BitUSD to cash out.
2) If you think BTSX is under priced then short BitUSD to cash in.
We need videos detailing how to do this in the interface. We need a better GUI with more indicators on when it's profitable to do it because right now it's messy. But that is at least what you're supposed to do in theory.

I think it needs to be $20 worth of BTSX since bitUSD will always be worth $1 USD.
If someone in the US wants to send me $20 worth of BTSX (about 500 BTSX) and PM me their address I'll order them a pizza :) . I have done remote ordering for my wife when she was in another city. Not sure if it'd have to be a big chain or not.

This is actually a good point - is there a rollout plan for bitAssets? ie. bitUSD -> bitGLD -> bitCNY -> bitBTC etc?
Should at least let the delegates know via a launch schedule or similar so they can prepare.

can anyone post some screenshots of the action? what's the price of bitUSD?
next is we overtake Litecoin on coinmarketcap, pay the 10k btsx to the bullish ones, and publish a press release that goes viral across the globe sparking a bitshares OM rise and influx of new users.

Only 100 delegates will be active at any given time? Is there a point to run wallet_publish_price_feed <delegate_account> 0.035645 USD in the console now that all 100 delegates exist?
And what is the advantage of being a delegate?
