Title: Randomized forced settlement?
Post by: tonyk on November 29, 2015, 09:27:32 pm
Randomized force settlement...probably with weights for the  collateralization level?

Is that how is it supposed to work?

Don't get what you are asking...
settlement time is 24h after request ..
collateral ratio is not weighted .. the settlement closes those positions that have LEAST collateral .. independent of the the actual "value"

If you examine the history -  bitCNY is a good example for the most force settlements - you will see  settlements closing positions other than the least collateralized - i.e. usually it is the least collateralized but from time to time it is some other of the 5 least collateralized positions.
