Lays out so interesting concepts...

His entire case is based on the idea that the political and economic spheres are currently separated, which they are not. He also never defines "capitalism", and it doesn't seem he knows what it means.

I think the reverse is true - democracy will eat capitalism. People always vote for free stuff paid at the expense of other people's personal and economic freedom.
His message is basically against the purpose of cryptocurrencies. He advocates Keynesianism whilst claiming it can somehow be reconciled with libertarianism and empower individuals (13:10).
He then admits that he is totally confused (14:50).

Maybe it'd be better if we stopped using abstract words, like "capitalism" or even "democracy" (bc it tends to be associated with a lot more than just voting, e.g. like democracy somehow means open, freer society). Using violence to shape society is wrong, no matter what the supposed intentions and utopian promises that come with it. So no, it's not "capitalism" (private ownership of resources and hence free trade and association) that's "eating" democracy, it's politicians convincing people to give them increasing power to use violence to shape society.
