General Discussion / For sale: Bitshares instagram account
« on: June 10, 2017, 05:37:34 pm »
I simply do not have the time to spread the word but I find instagram as a great venue to spread the word.

PM me an offer.

General Discussion / Bitshares Instagram
« on: February 25, 2015, 04:42:51 pm »
In an effort to do my part, I made a bitshares Instagram. Some here might find it laughable however, the simplicity of Instagram (imho) makes it a great venue for spreading the word/updates/general consensus. If the community agrees I will try to pursue it. If not, I will delete the account immediately. I might start out slow given current low morale in the community (my self included) but as 1.0 approaches, I look forward to a "New beginning"

I am open to all suggestions, feedback and donations.

Technical Support / Critical error 10001 Windows 7-64bit Wallet 0.5.1
« on: January 22, 2015, 01:23:04 am »
Tries to initiate the client but then crashes.

EDIT:

Tried going back to 0.4.27    -- No luck...So basically updating screwed up my previous installation.
                               0.4.27.2 -- Didn't work
                               0.5.0      -- Didn't work
                               0.5.1      -- Didn't work

I was able to get it working again by renaming peers.leveldb to peers.leveldb-old for anybody new to the client, the file is located in Users/XXXX/AppData/Roaming/Bitshares/

One caveat, getting rid of peers.leveldb will make the client have to sync all over. It will take hours which I suppose is better than not having a client.
