Let's all get on this people! We might just be ready for the new market by Monday! I'm on 0.4.6 are you?

hi bdnoble, I'm on it. Do you know how to do the git checkout 0.4.6 command? I do it in the bitsharesx folder and something happens but I don't know what I have to look for.
-
Apologies, but all wallets that have balances should be moved to 0.4.7. Delegates need not upgrade as they shouldn't be maintaining balances or scanning transactions anyway.
A bug was found where the wallet wouldn't properly cache the scanned transaction.
-
Ah well, I'm building 0.4.7 as we speak anyway.

Uff - version 0.4.7 on Win7/64 is crashing badly. Balances on all accounts "0" - scary. Worst behaviour ever.
I can send default.log / p2p.log somewhere if useful.
Delegates on 0.4.7 linux are doing much better.

Every time I upgrade it looks basically like this (I'm also always running from another folder so I don't stop producing blocks):
rm -rf bitsharesx/
git clone https://github.com/dacsunlimited/bitsharesx.git
cd bitsharesx
git checkout 0.x.x
git submodule init
git submodule update
cmake .
make

Reinstalling 0.4.5: my password was no longer valid, after replacement with the backup copy I saw at least my wallet again. This kind of binaries are nothing for the faint hearted 8)

Deleted everything except 'wallets' folder before upgrading to 0.4.7
At the first start logged in automatically to the wallet without using a password. :o
just a bug in the gui .. your wallet is stull locked .. you will experience several issues and cannot spend funds ..
let's call it cosmetic .. will be fixed .. I am sure
thx for the bug report

Try keeping your wallet open. I was stuck syncing with 0.4.7 too but it synced after I created a dummy wallet.

I'm on Arch Linux OS.
It looks like there's updates on the git source. I'm about to build the client. How do I find out my client version? I've been looking everywhere, but I can't find it.
I tried about, getinfo, get_info, wallet_get_info, about - console commands. I also clicked on Help.
It's possible my bad eyes just cannot see it, lol.

Try 'git status' from shell.

Within the wallet you can run the "about" command and can see the git revision. No version numbers ala 0.4.7 are used anywhere besides git tags

I'll have this a high priority update to make sure that version numbers are displayed in the GUI.

Dumb question.
I noticed in my new 4.7 wallet the registered directory only goes up to the letter B and only identifies names that I type in the search box that start with A/B. How do I change that?

It is a bug that has been fixed for future versions.
