General Discussion / biteur mentioned on National Greek TV
« on: October 17, 2015, 12:12:57 pm »
Link is below and go forward to 1 hour 44 min. It will probably sound Greek to you but anyway enjoy..

It talks about bikelounge accepting bitcoin and at 1h 48 you can listen that biteur is mentioned..

http://webtv.ert.gr/katigories/enimerosi/17okt2015-ert-enimerosi-0700-1000/

Now let's bring a proper product to the market and then more of these will come specialized in bitshares and biteur.

P.S.: that wasn't me in case you are wondering.I was on the background..

Help

I installed the new bitshares 2.0 lite windows ver , but when I import my json file  , invalid format ,  but it works fine on 0.9.2 and 0.9.3c

what do i need to do

kprell40
docs.bitshares.eu

Use IMPORT KEYS instead of import backup

last time I checked there was no "IMPORT KEYS" tab only "Import Backup" or "import from bitshares 0.9.3c". If I click the latter it is prompt for a password.

If I go settings and then wallet I see "restore wallet" or "new wallet"

I haven't yet figured out where to go... :(

I don't like these decisions on the spot at all. These things should have been thought and discussed previously. You can't through a plan for over a month and day one because some people register a lot of names you realize that maybe it wasn't a good plan after all and changing the fees like that on the spot.

So until everyone can Vote with their stake for such decisions I don't think you should change things and keep them as is..

I don't even know how much each name costs, what is premium name and which one no premium anymore since we keep changing our definition of things..

394
I oppose to increase the fees at this point.

You call these people spammers but they might have other business objectives that may bring value to bts.

Have you thought that some people may want to register many names and then offer them in the future for free to new members attracting them to in the ecosystem by offering them their desired name?

Don't just make a decision because someone says so. Bring Vote or something and vote based on stake and don't change anything just yet when most people haven't even started to use the new bts2.

right...

so let's all sell and dump as well until we go to $1 mil market cap..Then definitely many new people will invest in bts. Especially the serious investors with serious money i am pretty sure they will be more than happy to own a such volatile asset that got so seriously dumped and it keeps get dumped..

There is a point in every investment that if a line is crossed there is no come back no matter what..It would be a shame bts to become worthless because no one is supporting the price. If we don't do it now that we have a successful launch, the DAC appears to finally be profitable then when??

Anyway...Let's see how this plays out..

BTS in Polo is way undervalued and manipulated I think. So what are you waiting for? Just go long on BTS on Polo (either in margin trade with bts collateral, either just buy bts with btc and hold) and let's bring BTS where it has to be and let's margin call those short bts positions in Polo instead of margin call our short positions of bitassets in the DEX..

Seriously now. If long term supporters of BTS do not support the price now then when??

These price fluctuations especially this constant dumping for over a year now is not bringing any new users neither increase confidence. We just launched successfully bts 2. What else has to happen for bts to rise?

Am I missing something obvious here?

so we have reduced the supply of bts by 328k and these bts are burned within 1 day of launching? If that is the case all I have to say is wow  +5% +5% +5%

I just want to make sure I understand the OP correctly.
Does this mean that 328k of BTS have been burned due to new lifetime members, account names registrations etc and the bts supply is currently c2,511,625 BTS instead of c2,511,953 bil BTS?

Goosoodude: Last Active: September 10, 2015, 11:10:17 AM

Not sure if he'll be here to accept his prize...

But it looks like his ID is "BTS: goodadude", from his post history.

hhhmmm...I think I will wait until month end so he comes forward and confirms that this is the BTS id he wants to use.
Otherwise I think I should assume that he is not interested in claiming the prize and I should move on to the next one upwards.??Anyway I do hope that he comes forward and claims his prize and I don't make an unfair judgement here..

@goosoodude: Well done mate. You won 1,000 BTS from me. Please let me know your BTS id so I can send you the prize. :)

Can we redeem Play tokens from vested bts prior to IPO and is there currently any exchange for Play:btc pair?

omg... I forgot Tonyk !!!

On my previous list definitely include Tonyk.  He is one of my favorites in here and goes to the same category with Luckybit, Empirical, Arhag and Agend86

Even if he is obviously sarcastic about my list.
