General Discussion / Re: Advice wanted: Pay rate for developer delegate
« on: November 03, 2014, 03:12:56 pm »
Given the usefulness of bitsharesblocks.com I think anyone would agree you deserve high-paying delegate.
Keep up the good work!

General Discussion / Re: DAC Concept: Item certification

Emski, I really like the idea!  Specific to the industry of wine, we could really get buy in if we were able to get the Master Sommeliers on board.  I'm guessing this is a problem they're trying to solve, might be worthwhile to reach out and validate that hypothesis.

I believe there is similar project that is in execution but it uses bitcoin blockchain. I'm more towards technical stuff so I don't have time and connections to get the producers onboard. It could work for other valuable items too. Rolex was a good example. I'd be really happy if I can visit the shop and buy a cigar signed by the original Cuban manufacturer. And if I have a complaint it will be extremely easy to track the dishonest parties.

@Chuckone that might not be very useful for UPS/FedEX as their tracking database and services are mostly important for them. There is no incentive for anyone to run a node processing  UPS/FedEX's tracking system. Also they need to modify any entry at any time so the decentralised model shouldn't benefit them.

What is his version of the events?

Who banned sfinder and why ?

Don't use same spelling mistakes as proof of identity - It is not.
You should use your head. These accounts might not be linked to sfinder at all.

Thanks for the translation neosp!

Everyone has different point of view and he is free to express it.
If someone dislikes sfinder's behavior - that is what the voting is for.

You cant say he is lying though. There is some truth in his words.
However if he uses this solely to influence the price then it is an issue.

the follow is a public comments area in btc38.com for many investor.
星在飘我在找 is ID of sfinder
becasue it is picture of information ,so I type the Chinese word below it ,each Chinese can check it .

ps : all the up in formations are public . there is no contradiction between  any delegate and me ,no benefit relationship.I just show the true and my view.

It could be nice if someone is to translate this into english. You should also state what exactly is wrong with his words.

General Discussion / Re: Why vote against delegate is invalid?

why?
It would be useful if you provide more details.

Welcome!
Nice introduction!
Good Luck and Have Fun!

My primary ISP decided to do an unplanned "maintenance" at 2:15 - 3:30 AM again.
Few issues were exposed:
1 Both locations use the same primary ISP. If its international connection is down => everything is down.
2 Automatic ISP switching didn't work as expected.
3 Notification system is unreliable if I'm asleep.

I'll see what I can do to improve these issues.

A networking fix has been pushed to master branch that fixes a stuck pending transaction problem: https://github.com/dacsunlimited/bitsharesx/commit/621a94f61e9eee50a98d61c15c2e3d9031eb354a

All seed nodes should update to the latest master branch.

Shouldn't this be an important announcement?
Shouldn't there be a tag for this ?

I should have been more clear. This fix is not a required upgrade and this issue has been present for a long time. It has been causing annoyances for some users (particularly those using market bots). We fixed it just after the last release was already out, and so rather than everyone waiting for the next required upgrade, if only the seed nodes update beforehand it would already be sufficient to fix the problem for most users for now.
Ok. I just feel uneasy using the master. A tag will be better IMHO. Anyway it should be mentioned in the important updates thread because most people are subscribed for it. This thread can be missed. I believe everyone needs to update in order to fix the issue ?

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: Delegate questions
« on: October 29, 2014, 07:43:12 pm »
You can only reduce it .. however with the new update to the inflationary model .. all delegates will be force-set to 1% inflation
where was this explained?
https://github.com/BitShares/bitshares_toolkit/issues/879

10x I'd wait for the final version though.
Does this mean that a delegate can have max 100x TRX fees per block?

I've glanced over the scripts when you initially announced it and I didn't see anything harmful or malicious.
I see you've started something that might benefit everyone.
I was thinking of something like an widged for android that receives notification about nodes' status and I might use part of your work if I'm to implement that (free time is precious commodity).
Good Job!
