Quote from: Helikopterben on September 02, 2014, 03:24:26 amThe real enemy is the legacy financial system and establishment. They are losing.I do not think they are enemy, they have just stopped evolving and that is much worse. You stop evolving in the system which is evolving you are left behind. I am not feeling animosity toward current financial system any more than I am feeling animosity toward black and white TVs, they are in the process of becoming irrelevant.

I think NXT had a lot of problems the last month...Long term members scammed the community, hackers stole a lot o funds from an important community member, hackers stole from BTER and the most important was that a couple of members pumped hugely the price with "huge announcements" and then dumped the price to the unsuspected (including myself, thankfully I have not invested much in them) within a week and have disappeared. All in all NXT may have potential but this lost trust due to all the aforementioned is not going to be gained easily no matter what they do now...

BTSX is @ no.4 so there will be many visitors 'Whether the object be to crush an army, to storm a city, or to assassinate an individual, it is always necessary to begin by finding out the names of the attendants, the aides-de-camp and door-keepers and sentries of the general in command. Our spies must be commissioned to ascertain these.'Sun Tzu

Sure we can look at this differently in terms of different words to use but this is disruptive technology. Lets be the first to be the biggest. For fame and fortune, my friends

But OP only wants to teach, he doesn't want to learn (I get the impression that he already knows everything ) And getting him to change a title, or his opinion, is probably a hopeless cause.

Quote from: eagleeye on September 01, 2014, 12:44:26 amDo not work till you faint (developers)Tell your friends about the benefits of BTSX and that it will go grow (fast)! (Grassroots promotion) tell them about this website bitshares.org and the forum. Specifically tell them about this General forum.I am one of the people on this forum who is most capable of a post like this...and even I have respect for NXT. Their community and devs all are top notch in my opinion (why I own NXT too). BitShares and NXT are very similar in the intelligence of their design and both being written in different programming languages enables a broader level of high quality code that actually serves the crypto-sphere well with regard to security and development. Sure...a Java programmer might be able to switch over and write pretty solid code in C++, but why force them to waste that time when they can code in a language they know inside and out? NXT has value. With that said, I still think BitShares is an overall better model...but much to see with regard to what the future brings!

(For the developers) This is a race like to build the atomic bomb metaphorically speaking. Never forget that. In this industry the winner may get 90% market share. (For everyone else) Do not take words literally use a Thesaurus.

I don't think 90% of the market share is going to any community because the marketcap is in the trillions. There is no need to compete as if the marketcap is 1 billion or less when there are trillions of dollars to go around leaving NXT and Bitshares with market caps more than likely in the 10s of billions or 100s of billions someday. The competition is the established Forex exchange. What is their market cap?
What is this??We should be cooperating with the projects that are similar to ours because there is much to be gained by both sides...NXT and BitShares are very close to each other and, in fact, would be the perfect unified "enemies" of Proof of Work schemes.
