General Discussion / Re: Creating a new UI based on Bitshares
« on: January 02, 2018, 11:36:49 pm »
Hi Customminer!

Thanks for your reply :)

I have put together a very basic mockup of what I'd like a UI to look like. It's mainly taken from a few other exchanges - with a few of my own ideas thrown in.

You can see it here: https://pr.to/NVGBBU/

Pages 3 and 5 are the most important ones.

The current exchange UI is probably great for regular traders, but I think it's far too complex for amateurs with little knowledge of how the markets work. Openledger have done a good job with their basic mode, but I find that's almost too simple (no charts etc.)

So I want to build something that's both reasonably powerful but also easy to use.

Would it be possible to build this type of UI for the Bitshares network?

General Discussion / Creating a new UI based on Bitshares
« on: January 02, 2018, 10:36:04 am »
Hi there. I'm sorry for my ignorance of how Bitshares works exactly, and what's possible with it, but I am wondering how possible it would be to create an entirely new UI for the Bitshares DEX.

In a similar way to how Crypto-Bridge and Openledger have created "versions" of Bitshares, is it possible fro anyone to create their own web app/mobile apps/etc. that runs on the Bitshares network?

And if so - how customizable is the UI?

I really like the Bitshares concept and network, but I am looking for a way to create a much more user friendly interface for average mom and pop type investors.

Also, I am based in Australia and would like to offer a way for our clients (investors) to transfer AUD onto the network which they can then use to purchase other currencies. Is that possible? Or what would be the best way of going about this?

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to help me with this :)
