I was mad when I was goxxed but now i find this hilarious.

In the end I guess this is what was needed for crypto to take a new course. Gox created many cool projects like BitShares so there is always something positive :)

Now I would love to see Karpeles under arrest. And then BitShares to shoot to the stars so I could have enough money and eat a juicy cheeseburger in front of him while he is behind bars eheh that fat **** (just letting off some steam)

General Discussion / Adam Guerbuez tweets
« on: January 14, 2015, 07:20:09 pm »
Another tweet by this guy

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=924474.0

Wasn't he the one who also tweeted about Bitstamp's hack a few hours before they announce it? Obviously, it's just a man's words, so far it's purely speculation, but it's always interesting to see what happens

any comments on his tweets?

General Discussion / BTS Tracker for Mobile Phone, anyone?
« on: January 14, 2015, 12:41:03 am »
Does anyone know of an app that keeps track of multiple cryptos? If not, is there anyone working on an application that can track the price of BTS and give us notifications? Similar to this but with BTS

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=st.brothas.mtgoxwidget

It would be really cool to have something like that :) just a suggestion!

General Discussion / BitShares and Bali

I don't remember seeing anyone mentioning Bali around here, but don't you think it would be a nice marketing target when we get things rolling? Bitislands is in the process of making Bali a bitcoin paradise, so that you can use it anywhere. And they are in need of funds so they could even become a delegate and market BitShares

When we reach 1$ per bts, let's all meet and have some nice vacations there  :D

General Discussion / what is bitswift about?
« on: January 06, 2015, 11:50:16 pm »
Could someone elaborate on this? To me it seems they want to provide the same services as BitShares, what's the difference?

Maybe someone from the crew could provide some info, as apparently they exchanged some ideas already

« on: January 01, 2015, 03:01:33 pm »
Are there any cryptocurrency based startups the average joe can invest that you know of? I've seen a few but they're applying for incubators. Doesa anyone know of any interesting projects one could easily invest if he wanted to?

General Discussion / Cross Chain trading
« on: October 24, 2014, 01:05:58 pm »
I remember reading somewhere about this, though i can't remember and dont know mucb about. Wouldn't this be viable and solve the problem between "multiple" bitUSDs between BTSX Chain, Music Shares chain, Play shares, etc? Or is it something that can't be done at the moment?

Also, it seems there is a white paper about a related project. Maybe in the future this could be done? http://www.coindesk.com/sidechains-white-paper-ecosystem-reboot/

General Discussion / Your thoughts on Swarm?
« on: October 19, 2014, 05:16:09 pm »
Just would like to know your thoughts on swarm. Im always looking for new projects to invest. So what do you think?

I've read about Swarm not following the regulations of SEC? Also, could someone comment on this quote from bitcointalk

Quote
Swarm charges 2% fees, but only 1% goes to the early investors so $10,000,000 of that $1 Billion will go to swarmcoin holders.

100,000,000 swarmcoins exist, so: The early investors make $0.1/swarmcoin, and at the current rate of 5250 Swarm/BTC, if you invest 1 BTC you will only recieve $525 if the entire platform does $1 Billion.

And who knows when/if that will happen...

I would like to know more about this if possible :)

Random Discussion / Bitcoin Group's IPO on the Australian Stock Exchange

http://thebitcoinnews.com/2014/10/14/bitcoin-groups-ipo-on-the-australian-stock-exchange/

What do you think about this? Also, out of curiosity, can a 'normal' person invest in this? I mean, can someone make a micro investment? If so, how?

Technical Support / BitShares-PTS - Error loading block database
« on: October 11, 2014, 12:52:31 pm »
So when i start BitShares-PTS client, i get this error saying "Error loading block database. Do you want to rebuild the database now?". I hit OK but then I get
"Assertion failed!
Program: C:\Program Files\BitShares-PTS\BitShares-PTS.exe
File: db/version_set.cc
Line: 175

Expression: dummy_versions_.next_ == &dummy_versions_

For information on how your program can cause assertion failure. see the visual C++ documentation on asserts

(Please retry or debug the application - JIT must be enabled.)"

Could someone help me out with this?
