Seriously. I got filled at 3200.
Two explanations I can think of:
1) Very very desperate bear.
2) Someone hacked bter's BTS supply and dumped it.

I sold every scrap of almost every other altcoin I have and am getting filled around 3300! Wish I had more to buy with.

Possibility 3: You guys are having a mumble session somewhere, and some really bad news got spilled, and someone listening dumped everything? (I am just grasping at straws here looking for anything that could have been the cause).

Well, if there's in fact, whales dumping, don't forget v1.0 is near so it only makes sense to pick them cheap now as the price goes up in the near future. It can be someone taking advantage of that just waiting for a big profit

I actually meant this 'bear' - if he exists - could be doing that on purpose to pick them cheap again before we release v1.0 and make a profit. It only makes sense to do so.

Lets all make him fail at this attempt then. :P
He dumped HARD to 3000. If the price stabilizes in the upper 3000s and doesnt go down, then he got destroyed, and he gets to watch the light wallet get released and so on, and the price go higher while knowing he sold the bottom.

Actually it really doesn't. BTS is so weak right now that it won't take much to cause a panic. If a whale dumped now then it could completely crush us, so no one would do that with the intention of buying back in later.

Who knows, the market will figure it out. We can't be surprised that some larger holders are looking to liquidate with our huge delays. It's always a good time to buy until we hit a new low.
I'm holding. With the lightweight and hedge wallet being developed, I'm counting on big gains in the next 6 months.

Actually it really doesn't. BTS is so weak right now that it won't take much to cause a panic. If a whale dumped now then it could completely crush us, so no one would do that with the intention of buying back in later.
The panic was bought very hard. We drove it all the way back up in an hour. This was nice, I got some free btc. Will either buy again cheap or put it back into the small alts I liquidated to buy the crash.

The rebound seems over, it took us all the way back up, thats a really good sign.
Now its time for dump part 2, the retest. Should take us about halfway back down, so maybe 3450? Put in buy orders in that range imo. Might get more cheap bts.

Unfortunately, the devs are being forced to sell bts cheap (tax deadline). But good time for the community to buy in and support. :)
