Title: What is the difference between open.btc, trade.btc and bitBTC?

I'm a relatively new user. Where can I find out more info on the various trade pairings?

They are issued by different parties. OPEN.BTC - openledger, TRADE.BTC - blocktrades, bitBTC - you.

If you send your BTC to poloniex, then the BTC on your poloniex account is actuall poloniex.BTC, instead of real BTC. Same here.

bitBTC - Bitshares blockchain.
