28 a day! That is tremendous given it is near impossible for a new user to register an account.
But on to more important issues. Not that we need it yet because the product simply is not ready, but in the very near future we are going to need marketing funds. Advertising, free samples, attending tradeshows, are just some of the hard costs let alone the time of the marketing professionals. This community has raised big dollars for dev, but not for marketing. Brian no longer draws a salary from 3I.
I am a big fan of marketers competing for marketing dollars via delegate positions. Having said that, it is important to know that marketers generally do not have the skills or desire to learn anything about running a delegate. To his credit MethodX has gone to the trouble to create a delegate. Has he been voted in? Was it a good use of his time? I don't know. I would like to.
Is there another way? Perhaps delegates should campaign on "donating money" to marketing funds?
We are charting new territory here as a decentralized company. There are many lessons to learn and problems to solve. I am more confident than ever they will be solved and an amazing product with high profits for all of us is within grasp. But if you think you can solve a problem... solve it... but don't complain about poor results if you are unable or unwilling to do better.
I refer you to the Dunning-Kruger effect.
