Toast is just following the money.   When his paycheck ran out, he went to work for music, and then went to google.   It is better for him to earn $$$ and invest than to work for BTS.

I thought he burned the google bridge by choosing to work for BTS.

Nope, he is currently working at google.

Really?  :o  Since when?
Someone mentioned it in a random comment here about a month ago, he is also working for MAKER

General Discussion / Re: No Sommer Announcements for the week?
« on: August 29, 2015, 05:22:00 am »
Ander I got another one for you, there is no reason to market or advertise anything at the moment. Anyone that had signed someone up pre-2.0 announcement gets a lifetime membership and there is now 0 incentive to get someone to look at BTS from June 8th until launch, as such we have seen almost no articles/news/interviews other than those that were bought, hell even our own media/marketing delegates have gone into hibernation with claims they are waiting to strike when it means something. This could have been fixed by simply connecting new sign-ups during this downtime to their referrers in 2.0.

It is noticable that there is less new blood around here and many old regulars have moved on, when we were top 4 we would get random investors, contributors and people checking us out, now that we are below the fold (similar to Google search results) we don't have that visibility and therefore few new buyers.

what is the market cap of all notes?

Judging by the exchange rate at blocktrades it should be around 8100 BTC or $1.8 million.

Actually I think its a lot closer to a million.
Only half are liquid I think

How do you vote with the web wallet? There is nothing to click on the Delegates page to do so
There is a distinct vote page
Can you be more specific, where do I find this page, it is probably obvious but 15 minutes of looking around and clicking seemingly everything...

However, I did notice that on the Preferences page it has the By Default Vote For: ALL, if I change it to anything else, when I click Update nothing happens, leaving that tab/page and returning has it back to ALL.
Are we talking about bitshares 0.9.2? Then there should be a list of delegates and a clickable empty thumbsup/down icon ..

Like Riverhead said, this is the Web Wallet topic, so no not the client app 0.9.2.

I use Chrome and do not see those thumbs.

Maybe this explains our voter apathy issue, people using the web wallet, which is likely a lot of users, can't vote.

CFSCOINs are worthless, they were a sharedrop target I believe related to the failed project.

Augur is raising a lot.  thoughts?

https://sale.augur.net/

They are, but the Reputation tokens are over priced right now. I wouldn't buy them at these prices.

I missed the crowedsale with Ethereum because i had the same thought.
Me too, I didn't miss this one. The experience of actually creating an Augur account and an Ethereum account on the Augur crowdsale page was incredibly smooth.

Under DPOS 2.0 most of these issues go away.   The newly created stake will be vesting, fees will be higher, no marketing delegates will be voted in, and only a few workers will be hired.

If there is a 100% delegate that is getting paid for nothing then let me know and I will remove my votes from them.

Each pitch actually takes about 90 minutes, the very editted version of the pitch is what you see. Keep that in mind when you say they are being taken advantage of  by seemingly being put on the spot to make a big decision.
