Thanks for the positive feedback! I feel the same way about the wallet.
Valentine did a great job in picking the technologies to use to build it.

I have to admit that the first versions we released in October were lacking some features we planned but didn't implement due to lack of resource and also a lot of bugs were not fixed due to the same reasons - all these were affecting usability, but things really should change as we progress.
The modular/component based architecture that we've chosen gives us a lot of flexibility, so effectively we've postponed UX optimization until we get some more feedback and resources, now as we start touching this kind of optimization you seem to start seeing its results.

Also now I realize that some of those who were complaining about bad GUI might be affected by Windows fonts issue - they were rendered wrong and were too big.
Developers usually don't use Windows, so it was difficult for us to take this issue seriously. But I'm not surprised to see positive feedback start coming next day I've fixed fonts issue. It's not perfect on Windows yet - there is some room to improve fonts, so please let me know if you think fonts are still too big or look not perfect for some reason.

Excellent work I think ..

Valentine, thanks for the wonderful work. +5%

Add me to the list of people with a positive opinion of the wallet.
Thank you!
It's a luxury to have a GUI which is responsive enough to take advantage of the great speed of the BitShares backend!
The whole thing really puts the user experience of other cryptos to shame...

What are you talking about? We are the best f** +X-ers around. Hell, I bet we have hero members with 80% of their post count being 0-3 words (or exclamations) and a + 5 %
PS You are probably coming back from a tavern or something? What time is it down there? 5:30 am?

My PC has 4gb ram, yet can claim the balances too. Pretty sure that it isn't about the ram, otherwise most people wouldn't be able to claim balances. I really want to use the wallet but I can't. Must have time to download the cli and claim it that way.
Would still like to know the eta of a release that can fix that. It will need to be fixed eventually

Now all we need to do is get the power of Bitshares into the hands of Bill Gates, Richard Branson and all the other cash rich millionaires, multimillionaires and billionaires and get them sinking money into decentralized autonomy and get them saying the same thing. Aim Bitshares at the insanely rich and market Bitshares to them the power, flexibility, privacy, self control and anonymity and freedom from central control where BTS is going to shine.
The Bitshares ecosystem as a whole, independent of centralized mining farms and all the other POW claptrap, DPOS has hellish potential when the global banking system starts breaking apart and flight capital starts seeking asylum in decentralized solutions Trust me folks, Bitshares has not fully realised what it has created yet and trust me, centralized chaos is show us the real world in a real time scenario.
Bitshares as a nice safe place to sink their millions/billions, watch Bitshares get flooded with insane amounts of money from all directions. Now that's a day we will never forget. Centralized hell gives us the land of chocolate on a gold platter.
It's coming, the filth old debt ridden ponzi called the global financial system will collapse, and trust me, it will force change faster than any of us will think.

Also, I would like to throw into your requirements bucket, a profitability page. It should all kinds of metrics on the bottom line, i.e. share burndown charts, fee charts, etc. This will make getting referrals much easier.
Again, great job devs!!

Here's an idea. Since @IOHKCharles did his interview (http://www.virgin.com/entrepreneur/the-virgin-podcast-charles-hoskinson) on Dominic Frisby's (http://dominicfrisby.com/) interesting Virgin Podcast (http://www.virgin.com/entrepreneur/the-virgin-podcast), I've been listening to the rest of the podcasts. They're very good, and obviously linked with Richard Branson, who is already well aware of Bitcoin. Take a look here (http://dominicfrisby.com/about-me) to see what Dominic Frisby is about (with his books "Life After The State - Why We Don't Need Government" and "Bitcoin – the Future of Money?").
Dominic said Richard Branson himself will be on the podcast (I don't know if it's been recorded yet). I wonder if we could get Dominic and/or Richard Branson to take a look at BitShares...

I am really liking it better every time I use it, too. Very nice and THANK YOU for the hard work. Here are a couple of additional suggestions based on my experience:
(1) The Market screen is not visual enough. I don't like having to type in to find new markets; browsing the asset lists is more my style. I guess the biggest weakness is that there's no direct route from the assets list to the markets. From the Explorer tab, when I click on an asset from the list, couldn't that click trigger the asset's market to open up? Or at least after I click on the asset and see its information screen, couldn't there be a button from that info screen to take me directly to its market? Going back and forth and then having to type it in to find its market is no fun.
(2) I'd love to have a "click, click, click" gateway between BTC/crypto and our ecosystem. Both Blocktrades and CCEDK work very well and it's much less painfull than it used to be. Blocktrades is damn-near instant. But my grandma STILL ain't gonna understand all the steps we have in converting to TRADE.xxx or OPEN.xxx . Is there any way we can just hide, embed, or bury those gateways into the interface, so that people don't have to know or care what is happening behind the scenes? I want to deposit my BTC, choose what form it's going to take (BTS, TRADE.BTC, etc.), then I get a market rate conversion and see my money in my wallet right away. Ultimately, of course, I'd like to see fiat on/off-ramp set up the same way.
Thanks again. This thing rocks!

I love the new wallet. It's great stuff. +5%
Can't wait when people will be able to create custom wallets for UIAs with a few clicks, like people do now for apps for businesses. Maybe one day...

The wallet is looking great. Will there be any explainer videos created to help with the user experience?

I don't know if I should give you a highfive or a fistbump...I'll give you both for sharing those links. I'll use them when someone ask me questions. Did you make'em?

I didn't! Those are not mine. MarketingMonk made 1 or 2 if I'm not mistaken, but I'm not sure!

Indeed, a big improvement on Windows fonts. They are now clear and easy to read.
