Technical Support / Recover from 18 word seed generated on Bitshares 1.0
« on: December 29, 2016, 10:38:35 pm »
Hi, how do I recover from a 18 word seed made on the BitShares 1.0 version into BitShares 2.0?

I tried to use the recover from brainkey in the BitShares 2.0 client + clicked the button to check for unclaimed balances from BTS 1.0, but I only got an "No unclaimed balances found" message.

Thanks

Technical Support / Re: Building bitshares on fedora

I have a repository with Fedora builds (among others): https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor/home:p_conrad:bts

You can use Fedora's system openssl libraries if you apply a small patch to the fc library. (Note that in my repo libfc is a separate build.)
Nice, I wanted to make a RPM too, I will try to rebuild your RPM on my Fedora 21 :)

Serious question: is leased forging in Nxt equivalent to Delegated signing in DPOS? With the obvious difference being that Nxt essentially allows 13% of all blocks to be signed by a single delegate.
You can let other accounts forge on your behalf, this is called leased forging.
