Not directly, that is my own oversimplification of it.
I tried to keep it kind of vague so as not to spoil the video. I thought he presented a helpful context for thinking about information complexity, such as the fact that humans have only dealt with information for 6000 years, but nature has been dealing with genetic information for 3 billion years.
It would be neat to find the DARPA software demo for a system using that universal container that he was talking about at the end and play with it.. might be on their OSS portal. He said that the system when used within DARPA resulted in a 400% increase in collaborative decision making and 300% improvement in situational awareness, much lower "time to learn", easily extensible, and easy on the bandwidth. I'll look into it more.
