Thanks, I gave it a try, but maybe I don't understand the paradigm yet - I wasn't able to work out how to view prices, current or historic, nor how to deposit or withdraw.
QuoteI seriously doubt about this...I couldn't wait and wanted to buy some BTSX so I just bought on BTER... I bet you that tomorrow the price will be -20%...It happens to me all the time!!
lol...What did I tell you??? Exactly -20% today!!! It happens to me all the time...
I bought some today as well... You all know what that means now... Prepare yourselves...tomorrow -10%
Interestingly enough companies that are 2 steps behind prefer to IPO on platforms that are 2 steps behind.
What is the upgrade path for these other platforms? Do they just slowly die or do they actually have plans to scale?
NXT (and its clones) may 'copy some of your ideas'/ 'fully develop theirs' to stay relevant.
Counterparty/Mastercoin just wait on their own slow death...
PS
Parasitizing on some slow animal, animal not designed for trading is stupid idea to begin with…
Simeon II, I haven't always agreed with your posts, but you're sounding pretty good these days. Your characterization of the other 2.0's is perfect.
I might go so far as to say that your words are right 'on the money'.
See, this picture proves it. Simeon II really IS on the money!
1.There is giant problem in this space.
2. It seems nobody has found a solution.
3. Storj is offering new product in the space, even he/they not claiming a decision for the fundamental problem.
What gains do you foresee in collaborating with just another player who does not know how to solve the problem?
I know you all want to play nice, but other than that what’s your point?
How do we find solutions to problems? Thinking and communicating ideas across a broad spectrum of issues...that is what the hangouts are for. Updates, questions and brainstorming sessions essentially.

QuoteI am hoping that there will be enough liquidation at launch to temporarily depress the price a bit. I am perhaps the worst day trader in the history of the world though.

I suggest both Simeon and his counterparty both give each other the opportunity to back out of their wager if bts X happens to launch with more features than expected
3) We are now preparing Dry Run 9 which will have Market Issued Assets (BitUSD!) available from the command line interface.
as per https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=3812.msg75289#msg75289
Is that for real?
What is going on here is this:
1) I am moving forward with features that I am best qualified to implement
2) Launch is waiting on a number of things that are independent of my progress, (Legal, Marketing, Translation, Websites, etc).
