Make that 40%

3rd worst performing crypto out of the top 20 over the last week

Does it really matter long term?  Every time btc makes a run up or down it gets plastered all over the news.  The last two weeks have been interesting as some of the articles are actually mentioning other coins along with BTC, ICO's, etc...

Dips like these are nothing out of the norm in crypto space?

Hope everyone enjoyed being rich for a week

Looks like it will recover.  Anytime Bitcoin has a run, most alt's are sold off as exchanges such as Poloniex are mostly traded vs btc.

This could help: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,24130.0.html

General Discussion / Re: Success of Bitshares and BTS Vs Others

You will have to do much research to see how it compares to waves and other's to determine where you see the marketcap going.  I am not an expert on Waves however Bitshares has been around for years with solid development behind it.  The DPOS technology and the way fee's, rules, etc... can all be changed almost on the fly is quite amazing technology.

In regards to OpenLedger vs Bitshares.  OpenLedger is an exchange just like Poloniex, BTER, etc... that simply uses the BitShares blockchain.  You will see assets such as open.BTC or open.ETH, these are OpenLedger assets and they receive fee's etc from trading those assets.  They also provide an on/off ramps for example to either move the open.BTC to real BTC or even FIAT currency.  By doing this we are always in control of our funds unlike sending them to a third party exchange such as poloniex where they can freeze your account or not let you withdraw funds.

You can also try the desktop wallet which is usually much faster compared to using www.openledger.info.

This is also very, very interesting:

@Stan You mentioned your talk being "live televised."  Any info on how we can catch it this weekend?  I've read all the links etc and still wondering if this whole thing is going to be televised or streamed or what?!

Has anyone used this service yet?  Remittio.com and https://www.loaddebitcard.com/ are taking forever to load pages, almost impossible to navigate at the moment.

Watched all of it, great video that hits on all the right points.  Thanks for sharing and all the hard work you are obviously doing behind the scenes.

One thing however does bug me... Why are they not accepting BitShares or Bit Assets?!

Similar issue on the latest build for win10 as well.  Screen stays grey in color unless I launch it as an administrator and hit reload at the top for some reason takes care of this issue.

Might get real interesting once poloniex goes back online shortly.  Which way will the market go?

How solid is this bitUSD peg? What are the risks associated?

BitAssets work just as intended.  With the price rising everyday, might be a time to either take a gain and hold bitUSD or short it for the adventurous.

Perhaps the EOS UIA is the reason Stan has been accumulating BTS the last few months?!

@kenCode Any updates this week?  I always look forward to reading this thread on Friday's!

@svk With this worker wrapping up soon, do you feel there is still more work to justify another proposal?

The GUI has come a long way and appreciate your contributions!

Nice work on the latest release 170314.  This has come a long way and headed in the right direction.

One question I constantly see in the chatbox is "how do I login?"  Can you put a button for login, next to the create account button?  Simply match the settings>backup/restore look and feel.

Thanks again for all the hard work.

Any teaser pictures or more details on the transaction flow of stealth?
