Noob here...

Is it normal to see your estimate earned slip as the day goes by?  What causes that?

pool_miner does not run on Windows XP or Windows 2003 x64.  I think because it's C++ VS2012.

Appears pool_miner was compiled with C++ VS2012 which does not run on Windows XP x64 or Windows 2003 x64.  That is a shame since there are plenty of equipment out there that are still running these OS'es.  What can be done without having to load Windows 7?

It is definitely a Windows Server 2003 x64 Standard.  I installed it.

Is the windows version of the client x86 or x64?  Trying running on a Windows 2003 x64 and getting "pool_miner.exe is not a valid win32 application" Any dependencies besides vcredist_x64?

It is x64. If you are getting that error, I think you are trying to run it on a x86 machine. Please double check that your Windows 2003 is indeed an x64 machine (I don't think so)
