Proxies are trusted with shareholders' votes and are tasked with directing BitShares and it's development.
As a shareholder in BitShares, I would like all Proxies to propose solutions to the following issues:
MPAs Black Swans:
Underlying funds will not be returned without a hard fork
https://github.com/bitshares/bsips/blob/master/bsip-0017.md
UIAs Transparency:
As a business, we need clear transparency similar to Uphold (https://uphold.com/en/transparency)
https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,22828.msg300340.html#msg300340
Lack of Development:
Our git repo is quiet
https://github.com/bitshares/bitshares-2/pulse/monthly
Shareholders want to know how top proxies intend to resolve these issues with the funds at their control:
https://github.com/bitshares/bsips
In my opinion:
BitShares is a Business.
More and more businesses around the world are relying on it's stability and progression.
We need to invest in our future before we are left behind.
These questions need to be addressed by all our voting proxies around the world as we need to bridge the divide between Proxies and get on with the Business of BitShares!
Proxies have the power to get things done for BitShares.
As shareholders, we would like to hear what all the Proxies propose for 2017!

Great questions. As a Bitshares proxy, it's important to be active in the leadership of the direction of the network. Looking forward to responses from our voting proxies. The top proxies are listed here: http://cryptofresh.com/ballots

better ask the committee
my main concern as a voter is to keep the network alive by keeping an eye on witnesses.
after comes valuation of worker proposals. I don't feel responsible for giving solutions, I vote for them.

1. I have made extensive comments on the blackswan bsip already
2. BitShares doesnt have a transparency issue. OpenLedger does but we cannot change that, they can.
3. Lack of developers is what causes the quiet zone. If we can find some, we can fund them. Until then we wont see updates which isnt necessarily bad because the code/network is stable.
Finally, proxies have no 'control' over any funds also not the reserves. We merely approve proposals if we think they are ok and should be done. The network then pays
This distinction is important to me legally!
Also, it is quite well known that i support every useful and meaning full worker AFTER some reputation is gained (e.g. through some work done prior to being paid)
Finally, i still see a great future for BitShares dispite the negativity of people that don't know how to read the right charts.

@fav thank you for your comments.
If shareholders would like to make fav their proxy, please read the following thread https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,18959.0.html

@xeroc thank you for clarifying my issues with your comments.
I still believe Proxies control the "Direction of BitShares" and the purpose of this post is to find more comon ground to move forward.
If shareholders would like to make xeroc their proxy, please read the following thread https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,20792.0.html

I do hope more proxies follow @fav and @xeroc example by commenting in this thread.
Shareholders are interested in what you have to say.
