What's the process for depositing EUR or USD to openledger?
First, what you get if you deposit USD and EUR is an IOU called OPEN.USD and OPEN.EUR.
Secondly, you need to verify your identity. If you go to your account in the wallet->withdraw/deposit -> CCEDK, it will show you a FIAT block and tell you to verify via some URL.
After that the block will turn into a fields that show you how to deposit and withdraw ..

Is it really necessary to re-submit docs if the user is already verified on CCEDK?

yes, CCEDK and Openledger are not the same structure or business, they are two different entities supported by the same banking connections and legal framework.

I access all my bank accounts and all my bitcoin exchange accounts using tor. For about a decade.

Are you saying tor is only used by criminals and shady people?

no, that is not what is said, but fact is, tor is used by these kinds of people for the reason of not being able to track IP adress, so it is simply too risky for a platform like CoinsBank to consider Tor. sorry but you need to use Tor in places where that is accepted,  not many exchanges if I recall consider TOR.

I dont wish to discuss further on this pls, this is entering into security questions and issues and i not for public info. except what is possible to find on website or otherwise communicated.

CoinsBank is not a decentralized platform nor do they wish to be, as they feel their stength is being able to connect to both worlds.

On second thought, if you wish to know more on this matter, ask directly on site creating a ticket, thanks.

from some banks the cost of transfer is almot the same as doing wire transfers to europe from us.

I have noticed cost from oing wire transfer is 20-40 usd as cost of wire transfer and that is it

we are no deposit fees for teh time being for usd transfers

sorry, this is a decision to use cloudfare from management, and is not something that seems to change at least for the time being

and Tor is not kosher for accessing CoinsBank

Let this be a lesson to all who thinks all crypto is bought by the millions with 50 USD worth of bitcoins.

DigixDAO’s crowdfund launch on Ethereum commenced March 31 2016 and was intended to last for a period of just thirty days. As it transpired they hit the cap and the sale ended in twelve hours – pulling in 1o times their original loose target of $500,000 – collecting $5.5m in the process.

“A successful business is not just about great tech – even in crypto. It’s about relationships. OpenLedger, the exchange built on the Bitshares 2.0 platform, has been designed for the demands of the modern market.”

High-frequency trading  is one of the factors that is touted to making OpenLedger such a “natural complement” to Ethereum for the DGD project according to Ronny Boesing, CEO of crypto exchange CCEDK, which is OpenLedger’s Danish Registrar.

General Discussion / Re: Open Ledger Trading
« on: April 23, 2016, 12:19:53 pm »
Been away from here for a while... Trying to figure out what the latest is.
I'm playing around with open ledger today. It has definitely come a long way!

Is there anywhere I can trade with BitBTC as base currency against other assets/cryptocurrencies?

I.e. BTC/USD, BTC/ETH, BTC/MAID?

Is liquidity improving?
EDIT: I Found BitBTC/BitUSD but the liquidity is pretty poor for anyone that wants to trade more than like $100 :/

Also - how do you trust an asset at all? How to choose which one to trade? bitBTC, openBTC, metaxBTC etc..?

Since I would always suggest OPEN assets, I prefer others to comment in general, but it is also helpful to look at what assets are daily moving by simply taking a look at cryptofresh.

great to see that DGD is starting to move, maybe people know Forbes article will be out today :) ;)

One major trading pair on platform to consider is the BTC/BTS: https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/market/BTS_OPEN.BTC

Is your wallet software open source?

the apps are closed-source and they are not bitcoin wallets like others, in other words it is a native mobile interface to the CoinsBank

mobile apps connected only to CB system via special secured API

If I understand correctly, we can look at CoinsBank as something very much like Coinbase...which is a fiat-to-crypto gateway.  So of course it has to be centralized.  In any event, the advantages of CoinsBank seem to be that it supports multiple fiat currencies.  And not just BTC but also currently LTC (and hopefully BTS and ETH in the near future?).  Plus there is a linked debit card, which I don't believe Coinbase has.  So this should be pretty exciting for Bitshares.

Am I getting all of this right, Ronny?

yes
