Random Discussion / Re: UIA fees
« on: November 05, 2015, 08:40:52 am »

I know you have a goal, OK.

I am just not sure it goes anywhere beyond  making money for yourself by printing UIA with unlimited supply.

which is exactly what im asking you to give us a chance to prove to you... i didnt print brownies? my name isnt bytemaster? what possible stake do i have in this if i dont even own more than 500 brownies? cmon man see that im trying to be a partial third party who sees both sides, i get what your saying, you arent incorrect per se, you just do not have all the information and do not yet understand the implications! please just have a chat with us on mumble or something bro!

well fuzz is not BM, but he can pretty much print brownies, much like he was BM.

your right he can, but please look at what hes been doing with it? point out one single blockchain transaction where hes been less than fair with his distrobution?

this is what im trying to explain man, if you give us a chance to break down the intended use for our automation systems, how we plan to bring liquidity into this market, and how we plan to use brownies and other UIA to increase the core value of bts, you will see that were not scammers, were not trying to print currency, and were not shouting 'to the moon!'

we have a specific strategy that involves the use of UIA both to sharedrop and increase the intrinsic value of products, as well as a form of micro liquidation for users on the forums...

please just have a mumble or skype chat dude, it will open your eyes! even if you walk away still hating browines at least you can say you were open minded enough to hear us out.

This thread was/is meant to expose a spammer at least, scammer at worst, of this forum/community

And while the spamming part seems acceptable per forum rules... I do not thing the rest is.

His claims regarding the reason he is/wants to use UIA instead of BTS seem to be failing short quickly. His claim is "not because brownies are a free worthless tokens he can print with eases for any amount", but because brownies have LOWER FEES.

He is promising that  by using the said UIA to "bring the moon to BTS" more or less, of course.

Act accordingly!

actually none of those things were said, what tony fails to understand is that when transfering an asset within the graphene system, one can opt to pay the fee in either BTS, or the asset its self, for example, see the following transaction:

https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/block/474381

you can see that the fee was paid in USD not BTS, this system allows for a user to use the UIA somewhat more plyably than BTS, and even if it didnt, the fact that there is any fee at all involved with the use of a UIA should tell you that tony is literally freaking out over nothing, id be happy to cc anyone my pm conversation, at no point did i try to scam or spam anyone, infact i asked tony here to join me for a voice conversaton in mumble or skype so i could present him my argument as a developer - he would rather make forum posts like this and talk shit though i guess... oh well im still trying, i wont give up on you tony, i believe that you are just misguided and do not understand why UIA's exist.

haha you want the PM exchange public?

Here it comes...

and BTW even if you pay the fee by the UIA it still >= of the fee in BTS terms....developer...of kinds.

how is proving you wrong about the UIA fees, offering to have a chat and explain our vision and telling you i dont want any money from you or anyting scamming or spamming? oh no youve exposed my dastardly agenda by posting my pms which are very nice and offer you help!

completely incorrect, paying a uia which you have a large supply of != paying BTS which costs btc and theirfore money... its pretty simple to see pal?

did you think you were exposing me or something? did you not actually read the pm's? im pretty sure you didnt...

id still LOVE to have that voice chat with you and explain to you how all this works, you clearly have no grasp on it buddy.

I will just have you nonsense saved so you cannot change it...

developer kuro 577.

i feel like your not reading anything im writing and are just arguing at this point for the sake of argument, i see no rational counter argument other than the fact that you hate brown nosers and think that brownies have anything to do with the concept of brown nosing... im more than willing to flesh this subject out with you and discuss the pros and cons of brownies...

but you dont seem interested in doing anything other than FUDing... im trying my hardest to reach out to you on a personal level and give you a breakdown of our goals... how are you going to call me a scammer, pretend like your some justice hero of the forums, call brownies bad -
and not be willing to even entertain a discussion? are you that close minded? are you the actual problem with BTS? thats what it seems like...

ive thought about this more, and i wont give up on you tony, your the exact kind of closed minded, uninformed investor that kills crypto and by god i will make you see the light man, you dont understand yet how UIA's propell the core asset (bts) and your very stubborn and ignorant in your position, but your not stupid! anyone can see that... you just need to give other people a chance to break this system down in a way you can actually understand because right now your just being hard headed and you do not understand the implications of using a UIA over the core asset. this is a form of purposeful ignorance we can break man, you just have to give us a shot and be willing to discuss this with us in a civilized format. are you telling me your unwilling to do that but your willing to go around FUDing every thing we do? really? thats the rep you want here? the ignoramus who FUDs anything he doesn't understand?

Technical Support / Re: What are Brownies and how do I get some?
« on: November 03, 2015, 05:01:54 pm »
well you should ask fuzz, cause he is the expert pumper on those.

All my poor soul knows, is they stand for 'brown nosing' aka 'ass kissing' tokens. And that they suck the shit blood out of BTS.

Fuzz has great plans for them though.

I don't recall kissing anyone's ass to earn brownies, in fact they were the number 1 reason freebie was enticed to participate here...

It's in my (and anyone else's) best interest who wants to help, to create brownie liquidity and spread them - tony pal you have a pretty sour attitude, no clue who you are but every post i read from you is shitting all over people... if your one of the few not tipping people brownies (and other UIA) in the future people wont have to read betwene the lines to see what i can see about you.

Hey guys, we talked to luckybit, and would like some community feedback on the best approach to funding something like this, below is attached our whitepaper on the subject, combined with luckybits support and beyond bitcoins marketing we believe we can make this a truly powerful addition to bitshares marketing

whitepaper:

http://puu.sh/l5K4g/7069dcc1ac.pdf

if you find yourself aligning with some of these concepts and also see a bridge between the 'earnbitshares' ideas and our own, please chime in and help us go about this the best way!

General Discussion / Re: Would you Help BTS Community for Brownies?
« on: November 02, 2015, 04:18:14 pm »
There are quite a few problems with the concept of brownies as a standalone currency, the biggest of all i see is that brownie holders are encouraged to do just that, hold them, and using them as a liquid currency is somewhat frowned upon... honestly i think we have this backward, it should be completely liquid and used to pass through from good work -> bts -> btc

obviously this might strike some people as odd, I like the concept of holding brownies too and will always hold some no matter what happens, however I need to point something out... brownies will never become worthless. Freebie has THREE projects in the pipeline, the soonest to release is btstip, and we will be dropping massive portions of our equity on brownies because of the large support and backing from this community and the beyond bitcoin guys... personally im buying up a bunch of brownies and so are my team because we want to sell and distribute them as much as possible...

to that end we have two major focuses with the btstip and barterr projects were working on;

we enabled UIA TIPPING and UIA exchange markets

as of right now you can tip each other UIA, this is super useful for the liquidity of brownies, and as soon as barter comes out it will support a brownie-bts and btownie-btc market... hold your brownies, or sell them, either way you will be earning massive gains for participating in the concept because freebie will constantly be supporting and spreading them.

204
Freebie is willing to participate in this if anyone is interested :D

Do you mean that you will develop BtsTip live? Or you meant some other project related to bitshares?

When exactly you have plans to broadcast your first session? You can schedule it on https://www.livecoding.tv/schedule/, and please paste here you livecoding login, then we could subscribe your "channel".

we have several projects in the pipeline for bts, we will schedule a good time for broadcast.

freebie would like to participate for sure, we will get in touch :)

It has to be reversible.

I'm not technical so I can only come up with ideas, but can't the blockchain hold onto the private key of the BTC address where nobody else can see, and use it to unlock it whenever the trader tries to redeem his/her real BTC?

I was imagining  a cloakroom type of mechanism, where you hand over the receipt when you go home, and you get your coat back on the way out.

freebie has been playing with this concept for a while for its approach to decentralization of *coin transactions, the technology for this solution does not YET exist, but is theoretically possibly.

this is one of the issues we will be tacking going forward, and would love any suggestions :)

let us know what you guys think of the platform :D

It looks ok, but current on-hover effect is very annoying for me.

2nd thing, IMO there is no point of displaying a message "click to sign in" if this is only the one option on the website. Just show login form.

good points, ill take a look and see what i can do to spruce it up, your not the first person to mention these things!

General Discussion / Re: Beyond Bitcoin Worker Proposal Funding (Poll)
« on: November 01, 2015, 07:08:33 pm »
I think you should just pick a budget, create a thread explaining how you would spend it and how it would benefit BitShares holders and decide if you would pay it back through burning or not. This pool is not the best one. After you create that thread, simply create a worker proposal and if people really want it, it will get voted in. This seems too ambiguous. For people to have a better understanding on what you need to do you need to be more specific. I will create a worker proposal with the following pay X which will we spend in Y, benefiting holders in the following ways Z, K, W

amen brother, were all planning out the next move and will decide carefully, personally I hadn't seen the perspective that some of the Chinese users brought, that worker proposals like this one run on limited funds and should generally be given to users who want to dedicate development cycles to the core product, that being said we have some other approaches that may be more in line with this concept and adding value to the core system, and will let fuzzy move on his own plans in kind :)

we actually attempted to work with them, they were not interested in a meaningful collaboration and wanted us to host some kind of node.
